Save time, money, and space with the Shure MV7i Smart Microphone + Interface, which combines a legendary dynamic USB-C microphone with a built-in audio interface, bringing podcasters, streamers, and content creators two-channel recording capabilities in a flexible, streamlined package. The mic chassis features a flexible combo XLR-1/4" input that can handle microphones, instruments, and line-level signals and record it to your computer while also capturing your voice using the famous, podcast-friendly dynamic capsule based on the SM7B microphone. This allows a singer-songwriter or a singer and instrumentalist to record their vocals and an electric guitar or keyboard at the same time. Alternatively, you can plug in your favorite mic for a podcasting guest, musical duet, or acoustic instrument. The XLR input offers 48V phantom power for condenser microphones, while the preamp provides up to 60 dB of gain—enough to accommodate many low-output dynamic mics.
Legendary Broadcast Sound
The mic takes its design and sonic cues from the Shure SM7B, a classic used on countless podcasts and radio broadcasts. Use the mic in close proximity to your voice, and you'll find it exhibits a clear, intelligible, and high-quality sound. The frequency response is optimized for a rich and natural vocal reproduction. The MV7i is also very well suited to vocalists and musicians, handling SPLs up to 128 dB and delivering a wide 50 Hz to 16 kHz frequency response.
Rugged Appointments for Sound and Use
The included foam windscreen features an air gap for improved protection against plosives and p-pops, greatly simplifying your editing process. With its built-in ready-to-mount yoke, the mic offers a build quality that is rugged, with an all-metal construction for reliability in mission-critical circumstances.
Unidirectional Polar Pattern for the Untreated Room
The mic features a unidirectional cardioid polar pattern, which is the best natural defense against room noise: since the capsule mostly captures what's directly in front of it, you won't pickup as much room noise as you would with an omnidirectional mic. Depending on your particular room, you may still need a little room treatment, or use the mic's noise-reduction software, to address issues such as your computer's hum or your air conditioner—but the chances of that are markedly lower with a cardioid polar pattern.
Integrated Controls & High-Quality USB Audio
On the USB side, the mic provides broadcast-quality specs and intuitive functionality. Capture audio at sample rates and resolutions up to 48 kHz / 24-bit, which is the standard for editing and mixing broadcast audio. Use the integrated touch-panel interface on the mic itself to control levels, headphone volumes, monitor mix, and mic-mute.
Built-In 3.5mm Headphone Monitoring with Mix Control
The mic offers a headphone jack for monitoring. Just plug a pair of headphones into the MV7i's 3.5mm jack, and you'll be able to listen to your high-quality audio in all its glory. Mix your mic output and system audio playback levels individually with dedicated sliders in the MOTIV Mix desktop app.

The Air & Space Museum is a national treasure.
Format: Hardcover
This is one of those books that makes you wish you were there. Lots of pictures and tidbits of information. A good quality book physically as well. We get their magazine and this is one of many books we have both from and about the museum. Highly Recommended.

Great photo essay, history of aviation and space
i'm an engineer- worked rocket motors, and various satellite programs. this book was recommended by associate after visiting the museum at Langley. The pics are super, with short descriptions, and moderate on the tech. It's an amazing pulse of this wild history, and mostly is from America's lineage. St. Louis, Mercury, Atlas, and up to current Shuttle. There's also the SST, and unique turn of the century early birds. A fine read to be shared with a youngster (my son 10, digs it), or for the history or engineering buff. amazon has it cheaper than at the museum.

Essential reading for PowerPoint presenters.
Format: Paperback, Format: Paperback
Cliff shows details how to improve our PowerPoint presentations. He gives concrete and simple steps to transform a message into a targeted presentation. All of us have suffered from presenters who went over their allotted time because they had vital information to give us, yet we still didn't know their main point. Many have seen slide decks burdened with dozens of bullet points. Did the volume of points yield more clarity or did they dull our ability to focus on the message? Probably not. Read Cliff's book. Follow his method and you'll be a more effective presenter.

Useful with some scientific corroboration
Format: Paperback
Worth it as a primer to slide content and how it inter-relates to the delivery when giving a presentation. Very slightly laboured, like most TV documentaries nowadays - you feel they could move a bit faster (...yeah we got it the first time).
