The Leica 10x42 Ultravid HD-Plus Binoculars offer a 10x magnification with 42 mm front lenses, ensuring bright and clear visuals in various lighting conditions. Fluoride lenses provide outstanding colour fidelity, optimal brightness, and sharpness while minimising stray light for excellent contrast.
Wide Field of View and Precision Focusing
With a field of view of 112 metres at 1,000 metres and an objective angle of view of 6.4°, these binoculars provide a broad perspective. The close focusing distance of approximately 2.9 metres allows for detailed observations at short range. The smooth internal focusing system, controlled via a central focusing device, ensures quick and precise adjustments, requiring less than two full turns from close-up to infinity.
Comfort and Usability
Designed with user comfort in mind, the Ultravid HD-Plus features an eye relief of 16 mm, adjustable interpupillary distance from 55 to 75 mm, and removable eyepieces with two click stops - making them ideal for eyeglass wearers.
Rugged and Weatherproof Construction
Built for durability, the die-cast magnesium housing is nitrogen-filled and reinforced with a wear-resistant titanium centre hinge axle. The binoculars are fully sealed, making them watertight up to a depth of 5 metres. The Leica AquaDura® coating protects the lenses from water and dirt, ensuring reliability in all weather conditions.
Advanced Optical Technology
Featuring a roof prism system with phase-correcting P40 coating and HighLux-System HLS™, the Ultravid HD-Plus delivers high-resolution images with superior clarity. Each side contains nine lens elements, all treated with HDC™ coating and Leica AquaDura® for enhanced optical performance.
Lightweight and Portable
Despite their robust construction, these binoculars maintain a lightweight design, weighing approximately 750 g. Their compact dimensions of 120 x 147 x 68 mm make them easy to carry, perfect for nature enthusiasts, birdwatchers, and outdoor adventurers.
