Welcome to the Identifying Poor Performance, Misconduct and Absenteeism course. This course has been developed to help you understand what misconduct, poor performance and absenteeism are, and to show you what can happen if they're not managed correctly.
Poor performance, misconduct and absenteeism are serious issues in the workplace for both employees and employers. If they are not recognised and addressed, they can lead to a negative workplace environment where unacceptable behaviour is considered normal.
This course is for all employees, supervisors and managers, and has been developed to give you an understanding of:
- what general misconduct and serious and wilful misconduct are
- what poor performance is
- what absenteeism is, and
- the impact these issues can have in the workplace.
A Certificate of Completion is issued on successful completion of the course and you are required to get an 80% pass mark to be deemed as understanding the content. It is recommended that training is conducted every 2 years to stay refreshed.
