Blackest Ever Black marked it's fifth anniversary in 2015 with events at the ICA in London and Berghain in Berlin. The former featured an unforgettable performance from Mick Hobbs's Officer!, the shape-shifting group's first performance in twenty-odd years. For this show Hobbs - surely the UK DIY underground's greatest living songwriter - was joined by longtime collaborators Mary Currie of Flaming Tunes (voice, shruti, theremin, glock) and Joey Stack (keyboards, voice), with Tilly Bean on bass, Ed Bernez on drums and Lydia Fischer contributing flute, trumpet and baritone horn. The set list comprised songs from Dead Unique (BLACKEST 006CD/LP), the "lost" 1995 album by Officer! Which Blackest Ever Black released in 2014, a smattering of earlier classics from the '70s-'80s (including "Life At The Water's Edge" and "Dogface") and heart-rending covers of "Beguiling The Hours" and "The Best Weapon" from Mary Currie and the late Gareth Williams's peerless Flaming Tunes album. The show was recorded, and has been beautifully mixed for release by Deerhoof's John Dieterich. A co-release from Blackest Ever Black and Hobbs's own Life & Living Records. Good item

I got these Robeez toddler sport sandals for my little one and honestly, they’ve been pretty great overall. The first thing I noticed is how lightweight they are—they don’t seem bulky or heavy at all, which is perfect because my toddler is constantly on the move. They run around, climb, and play hard, and these sandals have held up really well so far. They feel durable enough to handle everyday wear without looking worn out after just a few uses.
Another big plus for me is how easy they are to put on and take off. If you have a toddler, you already know how much of a struggle shoes can be sometimes, so anything that saves time is a win. These slip on pretty easily, which makes getting out the door a lot less stressful.
That said, the sizing was a little off for us. I ordered my child’s usual size, but they do seem to run a bit big. There’s more room than I expected, so they’re not as snug of a fit right now. It’s not a huge issue since they can still wear them, but I probably could have sized down for a better fit.
Overall, I still really like these sandals. They’re comfortable, practical, and hold up well for everyday use. Just keep the sizing in mind when ordering!

Great sandals

I got these shoes for my 3-year-old. They are a good summer shoe that look good for everyday wear. I like that both straps are adjustable to help them to be more form-fitting to the foot. I like that the back ankle strap is *not* adjustable, because I don't feel the need for that one to be adjustable and also it's just kind of annoying because it's an extra thing that can potentially become undone. The whole shoe is foam including the uppers. One concern I have is that the sole is more slick than rubbery, so I'm concerned about these being slippery, especially with all of the summer activities that involve water. The footbed of the shoe has a bit of texture and seems comfortable. I appreciate that the sole bends easily to make them healthy for little feet that need to flex. These seem easy to clean, you could probably wash them in the washing machine, though I didn't see that anywhere so I don't know for sure. Overall, I find these to be high quality sandals and they are flexible for outdoor/wet situations as well as indoors.

Cute Shoes but Run Very Big

Shoes are cute and seem like they would work well but sizing is off. I ordered size 12-18months which meant they ended up sending a size 5. My daughter currently wears size 3 or 3.5 so these were way too big. Ended up returning.

Toddler sandals

Overall, these shoes are great for keeping near the back door and having shoes to throw on when my son wants to play outside. However, I would not necessarily have these be every day shoes as they don't feel as durable as some of his other sandals. The bottom of the shoes don't have a lot of grip, so I would caution against using these as water shoes. They are very adjustable and flexible though. And for the price, these are great "let's go outside" shoes. I like the color and function of these shoes, and my son doesn't seem uncomfortable in them. My biggest gripe is how large a size 8 is. They seem very big for a toddler size 8. I put some earbuds next to them for a size comparison in case you're like me and order true to size. You may want to size down for these. Other than that, these do the job for the price point.
