Green ranunculus sprays bring their pale, layered heads with a faint blush at the edges. Snowberry branches contribute small cream clusters that sit naturally between the larger stems. Eucalyptus and silvery senecio leaves fill out the arrangement with soft, muted foliage that cools the palette down.

The overall tone stays within a narrow band of white, cream and sage green, but the variety in bloom size and form prevents it from looking flat. Hydrangea petals are broad and veined. Rose petals are tightly layered. Snapdragon flowers are stacked vertically. Ranunculus heads are compact. That range of shapes is doing the work colour would normally do.

At 62cm and 21 stems, it's full and generous. It suits matte ceramic in white or cream, where the vase almost disappears, and the arrangement does the talking. Kitchens, living rooms, entrance tables - anywhere with enough light to pick up the subtle differences between the whites and creams.
