Shine Original is a 20% protein, skim based, fully instantised, calf milk replacer for once-a-day feeding of calves. The skim base promotes trouble-free performance with young calves from 5 days of age.
Shine Original uses low heat skim milk to ensure the milk forms a curd in the calf’s stomach and is slowly released throughout the day.
Shine Original contains buttermilk which reduces stomach upsets and feed refusals as it acts as an emulsifier enhancing fat breakdown.
Shine Original contains a blend of oils which increase digestibility of fat for the calf; it is important to have a good mix of short, medium and long chained fatty acids. Additionally, it contains a blend of Omega 6:3 that enhance calf ability to combat pneumonia.
This product is designed for bucket rearing systems that require an easy mix powder. Oligosaccharides prebiotic effect supports immune system and performance. Beta glucan supports the calf’s immune system by fighting off disease, and Lactoferrin supports immunity and boots overall performance.
Mix at 20% (500g makes 2.5L). Shine Original will significantly reduce labour and cost associated with calf rearing.
