It was perfect on each try. The barrel doesn't go all the way up to the root or scalp, but the curls still fall naturally so that the curls don't look tight or false...

My hair length is almost to the middle of my back...

It gives the user a really soft look, which is what I definitely was aiming to achieve...

I was really impressed with the guides which are made with some sort of material that doesn't get hot and as such there wasn't any burning of fingers or ears or even the carpet where I was styling my hair...

I didn't use any products (gels, sprays etc), slept on it and it was still really curly the next morning...

If I have a function to attend, then I will try using a light hairspray.
