The AXIS 8 mmf/1.6 fixed lens is purpose-built for compact network cameras that demand a superior balance of image quality, versatility, and space-saving design. This megapixel-capable lens is carefully engineered to deliver crisp, high-contrast imagery across a range of lighting conditions, while fitting securely into a compact M12-mount format. Whether you’re deploying in a retail storefront, a busy office foyer, a hallway, or an industrial facility, this fixed lens expands your camera’s field of view without sacrificing detail. It’s the ideal upgrade for users who want to optimize image clarity, color accuracy, and subject coverage in constrained environments where size and performance matter most. With Axis engineering at the core, you gain reliable performance, consistent image quality, and a practical option for tailoring surveillance layouts to specific monitoring needs. Designed to work with megapixel or lower-resolution cameras, this lens adds a flexible, cost-effective way to diversify camera setups. The 8 mm focal length strikes a balance between wide coverage and subject detail, producing an expansive scene when used on compact network cameras while preserving important details in the foreground. The fixed f/1.6 aperture helps maximize light gathering in indoor settings and moderate lighting, enabling better exposure control and more usable image data in real-time monitoring. This is particularly valuable in environments where lighting can vary—supermarkets, corridors, stairwells, and parking-adjacent areas—yet you still require reliable, consistent imagery that supports analytics, identification, and incident review. Beyond raw image quality, the AXIS 8 mmf/1.6 lens is designed to integrate smoothly into existing deployments. The M12-mount interface is a common, compact standard that makes swapping lenses quick and straightforward, facilitating rapid tilts in coverage without replacing or reconfiguring cameras. The lens’ optical design emphasizes edge-to-edge sharpness, minimizing distortion and aberrations so that edges remain crisp and colors stay faithful across the entire frame. This consistency reduces post-processing time and makes it easier to perform accurate scene interpretation, whether you’re counting people, monitoring queue lengths, or surveying workflow throughout a facility. In short, this fixed lens helps you achieve a higher-quality, more reliable image with less need for compensating software corrections. For installers and operators, the AXIS 8 mmf/1.6 lens is a practical choice that supports flexible, future-ready layouts. The compact footprint reduces bulk inside camera housings, while still delivering robust performance under typical conditions encountered in commercial and industrial environments. Because it is designed for megapixel or lower resolutions, the lens is accessible for a broad range of IP camera configurations, allowing you to extend the value of older cameras while benefiting from improved field coverage and image fidelity. In addition to the image quality benefits, the lens contributes to easier maintenance and faster deployment, enabling your security or monitoring project to scale across multiple cameras with minimal overhead. If you’re aiming to enhance surveillance outcomes with minimal hardware changes, this lens provides a straightforward path to better coverage, clearer subject detail, and enhanced situational awareness. It supports a range of use cases—from entryways and retail aisles to corridors and production lines—where dependable performance and a compact form factor are essential. Good product
Style: Charging MagSafe Mount
Great product. It allows my iPhone 15 pro to sit at the right angle so that it is not completely behind steering wheel. I like that it doesn’t use a glue base to secure to monitor. I have taken It off 3 times and it went back on well. The only negative I can find is that it’s a little bouncy or I should say more than I would like it to. I would recommend to a friend.

So so. Could be great with few improvements
Style: Charging MagSafe Mount
Overall, this mount is decent with good functionality and quality but a few things (short permanently affixed wire, no way to stow/hide, fixed arm length) make it annoyingly fall short of great. (Phone S24+, TPU case, ESR "magsafe" metal ring sticker)
GREAT: Arm rotation (i.e. portrait/left to landscape/top) is super easy with one hand via a simple push of a button that clicks into position every 45 degrees. Great design unique to this model. Most others require a cumbersome loosening and retightening mechanism that is difficult with one hand and tedious to position where wanted.
GOOD: Build quality. Secure and reliable attachment to screen without adhesive. Reliable wireless charging. Pad swivel/tilt is easy while staying tight and secure without any nut/screw to loosen. Includes attractive velcro (for carpet) and adhesive (for plastic) wire routing clips.
SOSO: Magnet could be stronger to support phones (like mine) with a simple metal ring vs a fully magnetized magsafe insert - still holds strong enough while driving tho. No way to stow/hide the mount when not in use - no folding hinge - the pad bumps against the display when rotating down, so it won't rotate behind - no folding hinge either. Arm length not adjustable - my S24+ is positioned nicely as-is but larger phones may cover the Tesla display and smaller phones may be too far away from it.
BAD: Wire too short to completely hide behind dash and under floor mat. Made worse by a permanently attached wire at the mount. Would be much better if attached via usbc, so it could be replaced with longer wire.
NOTE: If a screen protector is installed on the Tesla display, this will cause it to bubble around the clamped edges.

Very well designed mount but loosens over time
Style: Charging MagSafe Mount
Works amazing but over time the mount loosens up and the phone sags or rotates on its own. There is no way to tighten it more - only the part that connects to the Tesla display.

Great phone mount for Tesla.
Style: Charging MagSafe Mount
Firstly, I love that it is fastened to display via a turn knob. The previous product I had was attached by adhesive and in the summer it would fall off. Which is the reason I purchased this product.
I also love the ability to adjust the arm so mount the phone whichever way you'd like.

I did not like it.
Style: Charging MagSafe Mount
I was hoping this would work well, but I’m not really impressed with it. The magnet is strong and definitely holds the phone well. It also charges the phone very well. It is also fairly easy to install. That’s about the end of the pluses.
Using the rubber devices they give you to help run the charging cable is something to be desired. They have not done a good job of sticking. Either it comes completely off from the car, sticky part and all, or the sticky par stays attached to the car and the rubber cable holder comes off without the sticky or Velcro part.
When it’s holding the phone, if there is any kind of vibration, it shakes the phone even more.
It doesn’t seem to want to stay tight against the screen. I keep having to re-tighten it so it won’t fall off.
I’m already looking for another phone holder.
