Matthew Emeny:

• Matthew Emeny Based in Ipswich, Suffolk, Matthew’s love for painting began in his teenage years when he started painting scenes from around the Suffolk countryside. In 2013 he acquired a collection of black and white postcards featuring WWII aircraft and it inspired him to paint his first military aircraft, bringing colour to one of the old postcard scenes.
• The painting revealed a more detailed and realistic approach, and realism quickly became his preferred painting style. Matthew now specialises in military aviation, depicting aircraft found throughout history and today. He has a huge passion for detail and creates compositions which portray subjects accurately and in a way that is highly detailed and visually engaging.
