How to install Thermaltake Versa J24 TG RGB Computer Case

Setting up the Versa J24 TG RGB is straightforward and designed to minimize cable clutter while maximizing airflow. Start by planning your build layout with clearances in mind, especially around the motherboard tray, GPU length, and radiator or fan mounting options. Begin with the power supply—either a bottom- or top-mounted unit depending on your internal layout—and slide it into the PSU shroud area or designated mounting location. If your case uses a bottom PSU, make sure to keep the rear ventilation clear and align the PSU with the fan intake to ensure efficient cooling. Route the power cables through the back of the motherboard tray to keep the main chamber tidy.

Next, install the motherboard: remove the necessary standoff locations and secure the I/O shield before aligning the board with the rear I/O area. Secure the motherboard to the standoffs with the appropriate screws, then begin installing storage drives into the internal bays. The Versa J24 TG RGB provides flexible mounting for 2.5" drives within the 2 x internal bays and 2 x 2.5"/3.5" bays, so plan your SSDs and HDDs accordingly. Connect SATA data cables and power connectors, carefully tucking them behind the motherboard tray to maintain airflow and a clean look.

With the motherboard and storage in place, install the graphics card and any other PCIe devices. Ensure the PCIe slot is fully seated and secure the card with screws at the rear expansion slot. If you’re adding multiple cooling components, position fans in the front for intake and at the rear or top for exhaust to establish a balanced airflow pattern. Secure all fans with the appropriate screws, then connect fan headers to the motherboard or a dedicated fan controller, as preferred.

Finally, close the side panels and perform a test boot before wiring to ensure everything powers on correctly. Take a moment to cable-manage: route power, data, and other cables neatly to minimize airflow obstruction and make future upgrades easier. If you’ve planned for RGB lighting, connect compatible RGB headers to the appropriate motherboard or controller and install any RGB hubs or software required to synchronize lighting with your other components. When you’re satisfied with cable routing and component placement, recheck clearance around CPU cooler height, GPU length, and radiator size, then boot into your chosen operating system to install drivers and updates for a seamless experience.

The Epson F170 has been ideal for getting started with sublimation. It's easy to use, prints vibrant and defined colors, and has allowed me to personalize various projects with excellent results. As a beginner, it has given me a lot of confidence to learn and create without complications. I definitely recommend it for anyone starting out in sublimation.

No returns and no support. If it doesn't work properly, too bad.
Style: Printer & Inks, Style: Printer & Inks
I was fairly happy with my Epson ET 2800, but was told that I'd get better colors with the F170. So I bit the bullet. The installation went smoothly and I was printing in short order. It was when I started printing items that had some dark gray that I noticed the problem. It was printing green. I contacted Epson tech support and they answered the phone almost immediately. (And how rare is that??) The woman I spoke with seemed to be familiar with the problem and advised me to modify the printer preferences and change the color correction from "ICM" to "No color correction". Well, it wasn't printing green anymore. Now the grays were brown. At this point, she ran out of ideas and gave me an email address for the second level of tech support and asked if I'd send a photo of the printed fabrics showing the problem. I did. That was over three weeks ago. I've sent a couple of followup emails, but they're ignoring me. But the best news was discovering that there are no returns on this product. I didn't think that was a thing with Amazon and I've never had any problems before. So now the 30-day return window is about to elapse and it appears that I'm stuck with an oversized doorstop. In the photo I'm including with this review, the fabric on the upper-left was printed with my Epson ET 2800. On the upper right, the F170 with ICM color correction. On the bottom, the F170 with no color correction.

Epson SureColor F170 Sublimation Printer Rocks!
Style: Printer & Inks, Style: Printer & Inks
TI’m a newbie at sublimation, and this is my first sublimation printer. I love it! I can’t wait to make more things! I like that it’s not too large, but still can print up to 8.5x14”. The quality seems to be really good, but I also don’t have any other printer to compare it to. This was my very first project! I’m very happy with it so far!
