HDBaseT Support
The PTC-285T supports HDBaseT connections, allowing you to extend the distance of your camera from a switcher or controller.
Simultaneous Outputs
Connect your PTC-285 to multiple devices in your workflow for flexibility. All the outputs are active at the same time, supporting simultaneous HDMI 2.0 and IP output up to UHD 4K 2160p60 and also 3G-SDI output up to 1080p60.
Quick-Access AI & Object Tracking
Setting up AI tracking is available via various external controllers such as the included RMC-1 remote control and DVIP controllers (RMC-300A, RMC-180 MARK II, and PTC View Assist). In addition to camera controllers, you can also easily enable AI tracking on smart switchers, which include KMU-200, SHOWCAST 100, and others, as well as complete solution systems like ZR-1 Smart Classroom.
If you are capturing multiple people, you can designate a single person for AI tracking. Once set up on the camera, only the designated person will be tracked, avoiding interferences such as the desks, people crossing back and forth, and large objects.
Smart PTZ Speed Adaptation
The integrated PID algorithm is able to detect the movement speed of the identified object and automatically adjust the camera's corresponding pan, tilt, and zoom speeds in such a way that the lens movement will be smooth, avoiding common camera lens movement problems like jerky movements or unpredicted halts.
Low Noise in Low Light
Advanced 3D noise-reduction technology is also used to further reduce the noise while ensuring image sharpness.
Streaming and Network Support
The camera supports RTSP and RTMPS protocols, making it easy to stream directly to two different CDN platforms and Datavideo dvCloud.
Power over Ethernet
The PTC-285 supports PoE for easy installation without the need to find local power outlets or hire an electrician to install outlets wherever you want to mount your camera. Simply run a single Cat 6 cable to power your PTC-285.

Multiple Remote Control Options

The PTZ View Assist camera control app is tailored for the Datavideo PTZ camera series. It can monitor the live streaming video from PTC-140, PTC-280, PTC-285, and PTC-300 series. The app can control up to four cameras simultaneously via DVIP, you can intuitively set up and recall the presets, and adjust white balance, focus, and iris.

Excellent build quality and thick chrome, strong threaded screw

I purchased this as a gift for a friend that had problems with wine corks being broken and left inside the bottle. The intention was to have this longer tapered screw extend all the way beyond the bottom of the cork to pull out the entire cork without leaving pieces inside the bottle.
One detail that is missing from the instructions is the secret to how a wine cork remover must be used to insure success. The tapered screw must be twisted many turns, which will raise the two lever arms directly upwards away from the bottle. It is critical that you keep turning the screw and remove the metal or paper seal that is on the outside of the bottle before you stop turning. By looking at the bottom of the cork inside the bottle, you can watch the end of the tapered screw appear as it is turned deep inside the cork, beyond the bottom of the cork.
Once you have visual verification that the screw is all the way in, notice the appearance of the TOP of the screw outside the cork. You will see that it appears to have been turned very far, potentially damaged the outer surface of the cork. That is a GOOD sign that you used enough rotations of the screw to correctly engage the entire cork. Never skip these steps before you proceed to remove the cork.
When the screw is in the correct position, the two levers are all the way up. It may take some force to push them down, so put the wine bottle in a SINK, not a countertop. This lowers the bottle for easier access and gives you a safe place to put the cork remover after you open the bottle. Using a controlled force with both hands, move both levers down carefully to make sure that you do not deflect the tapered screw in a way that is misaligned with the neck of the bottle.
As the cork is removed, the last part may be fragile from contact with the wine. In addition, the entire cork remover becomes less stable, and free to pivot if you are not careful. This last motion can still damage a cork and create fragments, so just be careful and precise to gently pivot the levers all the way down and then if necessary use a twisting motion to ease the last part of the cork out of the bottle.
This method has never failed to remove hundreds of corks from bottles made all over the world without wrecking the cork. Try it and you will never have a broken cork problem again.
