While Böker is not quite as "aged" as the brewing industry, the same quality standards apply. To commemorate this common interest, Böker is introducing a series of traditional pocketknives with handles made from Genuine German ale/beer barrels, handcrafted in the Solingen factory.

Handcrafted in Solingen, Germany, this handsome time-tested Boker Large Stockman is approximately 4 inches long(folded/closed) and weighs approximately 2.6 ounces. The handle is Beer Barrel Wood with a Nickel Silver Boker Inlay Shield. The bolsters are Nickel Silver. This knife utilizes a 3" Clip blade, 2 1/8" Sheepfoot Coping blade and 2" Spey blade. The blades are highly polished Solingen C75 Carbon Steel with Tree Brand etching. Solingen Steel is Regarded as the Highest Quality Knife Steel in the World. Note: Carbon Steel is generally harder than stainless steel, this allows the blade to hold a sharper edge, longer. However, Carbon Steel will corrode/rust if it's not cleaned and oiled regularly.
