Spanning from 300mm to 600mm, the versatile zoom range allows photographers to fine-tune their composition without losing image sharpness. Engineered with 28 elements in 21 groups, including FLD and SLD elements, it minimizes chromatic aberrations while maintaining edge-to-edge clarity. Its internal zoom mechanism enhances stability, making it a great choice for handheld shooting or gimbal-mounted setups.

Fast Autofocus and Advanced Stabilization

Equipped with Sigma’s High-response Linear Actuator (HLA) motor, the autofocus system provides lightning-fast, near-silent focusing with pinpoint accuracy—perfect for capturing high-speed action. The built-in 5.5-stop Optical Stabilization (OS) ensures sharp images, offering two distinct modes: Mode 1 for general use and Mode 2 for panning, ideal for tracking moving subjects with precision.

Built for Professionals, Ready for Any Environment

Constructed from magnesium alloy, the lens offers a strong yet lightweight design, ensuring durability without added bulk. A thermal-resistant coating helps maintain peak performance in extreme weather conditions, while comprehensive weather sealing provides protection against dust and moisture. The front element is treated with a water- and oil-repellent coating, making maintenance effortless even in tough shooting environments.

Customization and Ergonomic Features

Designed with usability in mind, this lens features an intuitive function ring with two modes: Focus Preset Mode, which allows for instant recall of a set focus point, and Power Focus Mode, offering smooth focus pulls for video recording. The tripod socket integrates a bearing-based rotation system with 90° click/declick functionality and Arca-Swiss compatibility, ensuring seamless tripod mounting. A drop-in filter holder supports ø46mm filters, including optional ND and circular polarizer filters, for added creative control.

Extended Telephoto Reach and Future-Proof Compatibility

For photographers requiring even more range, the Sony E-Mount version of this lens supports Sigma’s Tele Converters (TC-1411/TC-2011), extending the focal length up to 1200mm with autofocus capabilities. Additionally, users can fine-tune settings and update firmware via the Sigma USB Dock (available separately) for enhanced long-term usability.

seems like an unspecified struggle with herself
Format: Hardcover
I don't know. It'ts a struggle for her to come up with the next line. Doesn't feel especially creative, inspired, or notably intelligent. I read other disappointed reviews people had written about this book, & bought it anyway. I tend to have avant-garde sensibilities, so I thought I'd enjoy it for its avant-garde qualities. I really tried to appreiate the experimentality of it, but I couldn't, because I realised I was readin it more for the sake of reading, & because I enjoy reading, than because this book is any good. I know a lot of unskilled teenagers who write dada-influenced poetry that's much more interesting than this uninspired book; I don't see what makes Anne Carson so special. 1 star because it's not a good book. 1 more star, bringing the total to 2, because I feel bad just giving it 1 star. At least she wrote something...

A Slip-Up
Format: Paperback
I don't know what happened here but Carson's last two books have really gone down hill. Men in the Off Hours, her first book since Autobiography of Red, is a mess. I don't know how else to describe it. It's not that I'd expect an easy read after her last book--just a consistent one. There are poems in here that first appeared in prose elsewhere and now are in lines! This suggests a lack of understanding of the line and its history and uses on the part of the writer, which shocks me since Plainwater and Autobiography of Red I truly liked. I would not suggest this book if you like Anne Carson. It will disappoint you!

It’s alright
Format: Paperback
Definitely would be great for a teenager. As a 20 year old, not my favorite at all. If I was in junior high, I would’ve loved this book, but as an adult could not finish it. Love the cowboy theme and Texas A&M references though!

Our 14 year old expressed interest in reading as a hobby, so she asked for books by this author. Couldn’t be happier. She loved it! Finished it in 3 days! Age appropriate content that came off the pages, engaging the reader!
