The white DPA 6061 CORE is a subminiature, moisture-resistant lavalier microphone designed for use with wireless systems for broadcast, performance, and theatrical applications. The low-sensitivity electret-condenser capsule can handle even very loud performers to deliver crisp, clear, and intelligible speech. The mic's 3mm size is easy to hide in clothing or costumes, making it well suited to the demands of professional presentations, theater, and live stage work as well as TV, film, and video productions.

The 6061 shrinks DPA's CORE technology down to a 60% smaller size that still delivers extended dynamic range and extremely low self noise for outstanding sound quality. An included capsule protection grid protects the mic element and supplies a subtle 4 dB soft boost between 8 to 20 kHz, lightly enhancing signal presence to ensure clarity. The cap can be removed for cleaning and attaches to the mic with a firm click that can be felt and heard.

With an SPL rating of 144 dB, the microphone is more than capable of handling even very loud vocalists, presenters, and speakers. The 6061 CORE is powered by 5 to 10V plug-in power from a wireless transmitter and features a modular design using a Microdot output connector. This version includes a 3-pin LEMO adapter compatible with Lectrosonics SSM, Sennheiser SK, and Wisycom MTP transmitters.

Modular System Featuring Microdot Connector with LEMO 3-Pin Adapter
Compatible Wireless Transmitters
  • Lectrosonics: Works with Lectrosonics transmitters equipped with a 3-Pin LEMO connector, including the SSM and the DBu. Also supports the Sennheiser SK Series and Wisycom MTP.
  • The modular design allows you to adapt the 6061's Microdot connector to a wide variety of transmitters simply by purchasing the compatible adapter—saving you the expense of buying another microphone.
Optional XLR Adapter for Wired Applications
The DAD6001 Microdot to 3-pin XLR Adapter (available separately) allows you to power the 6061 from 12 or 48V phantom power for wired applications.
An Easily Concealed Subminiature Microphone Solution
A Crisp, Clear Sound for Professional Applications
Despite the small size, the diaphragm design offers a clean and natural sound optimized for the human voice. The 6061 CORE features a 3mm capsule that is fully comparable to DPA's larger microphones but allows it to be even more inconspicuous and easily disguised in clothing or costumes. The entire mic has a pleasant matte finish for a smaller and less obtrusive appearance.
Soft-Boost Grid Included
The pre-fitted protection cap gives a 4 dB soft boost in the 8 to 20 kHz range for added clarity and can be detached for cleaning.
Lower Sensitivity for Loud Vocals and Speech
The 6061 CORE features a less sensitive capsule designed for loud speech and vocal performances at levels up to 144 dB SPL before clipping. It also makes the mic well suited to concealment in clothing and costumes and allows the mic to be hidden at the subject's hairline without overloading the input levels.
Omnidirectional Polar Pattern
The forgiving omnidirectional pick-up pattern captures sound from all around the mic and provides a consistent frequency response, even for off-axis sound. This helps to supply clear, intelligible speech and vocals, even when the talent turns away from the microphone.
Reliable Performance
Both the mic and its protection cap are made of durable stainless steel and treated with a physical vapor deposition (PVD) coating that allows it to tolerate high temperatures and makes it impact resilient and abrasion resistant.
Tough, Moisture-Resistant Construction
The 6061 is certified IP58 for dust and moisture resistance. The rugged 5.9' cable is built with Kevlar strain relief to survive the constant twists, bends, and pulls that are part of everyday use in harsh environments.
Additional Options
This version of the DPA 6061 CORE does not include windscreens or clips; they are available separately.

  • The SCM0034-B 8-Way Double Clip allows you to mount two lavs for broadcasting.
  • The SCM0030-B 8-Way Clip offers a variety of flexible positioning choices for mounting a single lavalier mic.
  • Foam windscreens to reduce breath and plosive noises are available in multiple colors choices to match clothing.

Sadly, DNF
Format: Kindle
I read this thru KU. I LOVED the synopsis. And then I began reading... and it was a DNF at 68% after picking it up and putting it down several times because I really loved the main female character. *****SPOILERS***** Pros: The world is unique, intriguing and fun. The primary female character is bad-a** but not a b*tech or a mary sue. The primary female has depth. I really want to know what happens to her even tho it's been weeks and I don't remember her name. The villains to the point I read are pretty good -- an ever present threat of mysterious and possibly many culprits. Cons: Way, way too many points of view. I stopped counting at 7. It's the prime reason why I don't care about most of the characters or remember their names even when I like them. There's just too many points of view so almost none of the characters have enough book space for the author to properly develop them. This literally killed the book for me. Actually it killed my desire to read. For weeks. The main male is more villain than hero. He agreed to marry the main female then locks her up & eschews her for her sister, all while bad mouthing her as unfit to rule when he never spent any time with her getting to know her. He is actually unfit to rule as he is blind to the woes of his own kingdom and starts off a peace mission to secure a ceasefire through marriage by murdering an inn full of people in her country for no real reason. Plus, he constantly makes promises he does not keep. And it's gross of him to pine for the sister behind the main female's back. ***** As much as I really wanted to see what happened to the main female character, it wasn't enough for me to keep trying to slog thru this book. There was a lot of potential here that just fell short. Hence, 3 stars.

Fae Courts with High Intrigue
Format: Kindle
This book is one that just builds and builds and then surprises you to no end. You may think you know the villains and then you are jolted in another direction. Princess Reyna is a real gem, strong of character, a fierce fighter, and loyal to her family and kingdom. Just when you think she and Lorcan, well you know, the plot is flipped. Can't wait to see where this goes in book two.

Slow, sorry but good
Format: Kindle
This was a slow moving book. Lots of character pov chapters, lots of superfluous descriptions and endless courtly appearances stalled this book to start. Once you get into the heart of the story, it takes off. Before you know it the book is done. My favorite character is Reyna. She is so strong. She is true to herself. She gets into a lot of trouble with her headstrong ways but it's entertaining. I have high hopes for Lorcan. He is honorable to a fault. Thane had turned out to be better than I thought but i still don't like him. Eislin is useless. Great plot twists at the end. I'm looking forward too book 2.

Very detailed! Beautiful world building! Strong Heroine!
Format: Kindle
Starts off a little slow and confusing with different POV’s, but starts to all come together towards the middle to make an elaborate plot line and makes it all worth it. Beautiful world building and attention to detail as well as great writing. The cliffhanger was gut wrenching! Can’t wait for the next book!

Interesting
Format: Kindle
This was a very captivating book once you got into it thoroughly. But the third person perspective was a bit hard to get used to. But as you got into it and followed the different characters, it was interesting and filled with intrigue, conflict and forbidden love. I can’t wait to read the next one and to complete the series.
