In a time before Teeth of the Sea, there was JAWS. a mythical beast that existed chiefly in it's members' imaginations, it was to be the ultimate incandescent and unsavoury aural burnout; a bracing, no-rules tarpit of abjection and intrigue. Then they actually had a band practice, and found that instead it sounded like an inept, drumloop-driven racket. Only mildly disheartened, the band lay dormant until a decidedly blurry, in-the-red evening at a show in one of the murkier quarters of the metropolis, when it's entourage were excited enough in their addled state to forge a master plan once again: Their mission: To stand atop the scrapheap of modern avant-rock like some wayward, drunken colossus. Armed with freedom of intent, irreverence and sheer hedonistic spirit, they would banish the legions of laptop-tapping timewasters and po-faced noisemongers that habitually blighted their evenings out, forever. Then they actually had some band practices, and were pleasantly surprised to find that what emerged from the new lineup was a turbulent, fiery and atmospheric instrumental brew that encompassed searing cosmic psychedelia, melodramatic giallo soundscapes, mariachi melancholia and kraut-tinged droning occultism. This band hence metamorphosised into Teeth of the Sea. Two years and more have now passed since that fateful night, and though their sound has blossomed into the expansive, evocative and electrifying elixir you'll hear on their Rocket Recordings debut Orphaned by the Ocean, their modus operandi remains exactly the same: To forge onward irrespective of genre, fashion and occasionally common sense. To have no agenda save what thrills them at any given moment. And to place reckless oblivion as the ideal destination for their quest. Orphaned by the Ocean, a far-reaching travelogue boasting an embarrassment of riches in texture, atmosphere and bloody-minded amplified overload, is nonetheless merely the first stop along the way.

Better Than Expected for an Amazon Essential
These fit well and are more comfortable than I expected. The fabric feels solid and thick, and works well for everyday wear or the office. They’ve held up nicely with regular use and washing.
Honestly, they’re surprisingly well made for an Amazon Essentials item. If you want simple, good‑fitting pants without overpaying for a brand name, these are a solid choice.

Fit + construction + price = perfection
Ok, I’m not sure why anyone would leave a negative review or why these are high return items, but my experience has been exceptional. My son had been wearing his regular jeans to work (landscaping) and was absolutely destroying them. He needed work pants and he’s hard to fit (29x34) because he’s tall and lanky. I didn’t have a lot of money to spend and because of his odd size, I came straight to Amazon. These pants appeared on my second swipe up and I saw that one color was on sale for $9.99. I originally ordered him 3 pairs of the sale pants, but ordered him 30x34’s because that’s what he wanted. Got them in 2 days with my Prime and they were perfect for his needs, though he needed a 29” waist. My son loves how comfortable they are and he says they’re much cooler than jeans. He can wear the 30’s, but I decided to order him some in his regular size of 29x34. I will say that he probably could have gone down to 33” length, possibly 32”, but with his cowboy boots, the 34” are fine. I’m thinking the pants might be slightly big in the waist and length measurements, so you might want to order one size smaller in both dimensions. They aren’t huge, just maybe an inch bigger. So here I go to order more pants and I saw there were 2 additional colors on sale except these were $6.62. What?!?! I couldn’t believe it! I immediately ordered him 6 additional pairs, 4 of one color and 2 of the other. Those 6 pairs were less than $10 more in total than my first order. I couldn’t believe it because I already knew the pants were well made. They hold up very well during washing and they don’t wrinkle. (Hallelujah!) I mean can you imagine a better deal? The pants are appropriate for dinner, church, work (any kind), really anywhere you’d wear a pair of khakis. I could not be happier with this purchase and urge you to buy them if you’re on the fence. They are totally worth the price, especially if you catch an amazing sale like I did. You’ll be amazed at the quality versus price point and if you manage to get them for $6.62 it’ll make your day! Make sure you check all the colors because they don’t all cost the same. You don’t want to miss an opportunity to get them at rock bottom prices. Trust me, buy them! You won’t regret it.

Nice pants except for one thing.
i really like these pants. The fit is perfect. The material is soft. They are well made and there is even a small pocket within the right side pocket for keys or change so why only 4 stars? I ordered 2 pairs and the 3 buttons are very hard to open and close.

Comfy, lightweight, button hole too small
I wear 36 X 36 in Levi and Wrangler jeans so I ordered these in that size. The waist fits fine but the inseam is very generous. I will order another pair 36 X 34 for comparison. These pants are comfortable and lightweight. My only suggestion would be to use a smaller button or make the buttonhole a smidge larger. Maybe this problem will disappear with use, time will tell. I have yet to wear them at the shop so I cannot comment on how well they will hold up, but I bought them because jeans are too tight to allow free movement in, under and around my projects. In that regard I believe they will do just fine.

Size does not run true. Have to one or two up your sizing. Well made otherwise.
Run small, nowhere true to size. Had to end up with a two-sizes larger pair. Otherwise, a nice weight, great shade of blue that is true to the photo. Really are wrinkle resistant. Not a lot of stretch, but that’s what he wanted anyway. Can’t speak to durability as we just received them, the material seems of a sturdy quality and is well made without any strings or skipped stitches. These will easily be worn casually or with a blazer. Nice flat front with a straight fit from hips to hem.
Once you find your size, these are a great pair of pants.
