Austin imagined him with one knee crossed, unhurried, both of them talking with their hands, the kind of conversation where you forget how much time has passed. When Jesus told her everything she had ever done, she wasn't condemned. She was known. Austin painted this scene as a personal one, the kind of moment our hearts quietly long for in prayer, to sit beside Him and pour it all out, knowing He already knows, and came anyway.
