Maturing the glaze at lower temperatures and using different combustible materials such as sawdust, newspaper, straw, etc will greatly influence the colors and look of the glaze. Minimizing the distance between the kiln and the reduction container will also enhance color.
Proper safety processes and personal protective equipment are very important when doing Raku as you are exposed to high heat, flames and smoke. Always wear heat and fire protective clothing and fireproof gloves. Do not open or insert tongs into an electric kiln without shutting off. Reduction process should take place outside of building due to flames and smoke.

Shimmers came out on the 1st use. But none after that. Just a waste of money! Oh and the packaging although cute. That lid is Hella hard to remove. It ripped up just trying to remove it!

Comfortable. Period
They are comfortable which is most important for this item. If they’re not comfortable, you’re not gonna wear them but these are comfortable. They fit well and they don’t squish your toes cause they were open. I recommend them.
