With its highly versatile sound and comfortable feel, the Taylor 214ce Grand Auditorium Acoustic-electric Guitar is the perfect choice for any player seeking a steel-string acoustic that can do it all. The Grand Auditorium body shape features player-friendly contours and an all-purpose tone profile, making it suitable for a variety of musical styles. The solid torrefied spruce top offers bold, clear projection with a touch of aged-in warmth, thanks to Taylor’s special roasting process. The C-Class interior bracing enhances the response, providing more volume, longer sustain, and increased low-end power. Taylor's renowned neck design ensures relaxed fretting for players of all skill levels, while the built-in ES2 electronics allow you to plug in and play anywhere you go.

Experience Unmatched Playability and Tone

The Taylor 214ce Grand Auditorium boasts stage-ready features, exceptional sonics, and unmatched playability. Its Grand Auditorium body shape rivals the power and projection of larger guitars while offering superior comfort and a focused sonic profile that recording engineers love. The fast and slender mahogany neck plays effortlessly, and the layered walnut back and sides produce a warm, airy tone perfect for any style of play. The solid Sitka spruce top, treated with a torrefied roasting process, enhances the guitar's musicality and appearance, providing a lighter, more resonant top that vibrates with ease.

Grand Auditorium Body Style

Taylor’s Grand Auditorium body style, featured on the 214ce, combines the width and depth of a dreadnought with a narrower waist, giving it a sleek look and remarkable treble response. This body style sharpens the definition of each note, making it ideal for fingerpicking and medium strumming. The Grand Auditorium is a versatile choice ready for countless genres and virtually any playing style.

Premium Tonewoods

The 214ce’s layered walnut back and sides offer a warm, airy presence with a midrange growl when played aggressively. Walnut is favored for studio work due to its dynamic response. The solid torrefied Sitka spruce top enhances projection and dynamic range, making this guitar a powerful performer. The combination of maple and ebony on the neck ensures a ringing midrange with plenty of top-end detail.

Expression System 2 Electronics

Taylor's Expression System 2 features a proprietary pickup behind the saddle with three individually calibrated, precisely positioned piezo-electric sensors. This setup captures the instrument's acoustic energy as it's transferred through the saddle, providing a natural acoustic sound with incredible dynamic range and responsiveness. A great everyday companion.
Overall this is a great watch for the price. Swiss Made and the right size for a larger dial vs. others in the class. The dial color is more gray than black which was a plus for me as I was looking for a gray dial. I switched out the band for a black field band bought on Hamilton’s website. I am very happy with the results!

The Perfect Everyday Watch
This hands down is the best everyday watch. I have a large wrist so the 42mm works perfectly for me. The all brushed titanium looks great. The subdued look and clear dial just only make it better. I didnt want to believe the Hamilton hype but I have to say that Hamilton makes a great solid watch. If you are looking for the everyday watch that just feels right, is solid, and works, look no further. I am sure the standard version is just as good also. ALSO, the dial is not black black. It is slightly a grayish tone. At first I hated this detail but after looking at it, it just looks so good.

Hamilton titanium is worse than mediocre
Where can I start with how bad this watch is? (1) the movement is a derated movement with a low beat rate. This means the seconds hand visibly clicks almost like a quartz watch. (2) the beautiful dial is rarely seen because there is no anti-reflective coating. Instead, you see overhead lighting when you check your watch. (3) the watch is already oversized, but the excessive lug-to-lug length makes this look like a clown watch. Make sure your wrist is 8" or more for this watch. (4) it's dainty for a field watch. The push-down crown easily pops out, making rain or sweat a real watch killer. It's also gets scratched at the slightest touch. (5) the superluminova on the hands and face is so thin that it is worthless. (6) When I say Seiko and Timex make better automatic watches, I don't mean "better value" or "better for the money." I mean that Seiko and Timex have better movements, better styling, better wearability, better durabity, better visability... all around better. The Hamiltons released with the low-beat H-10 are bringing shame to the one-respected Hamilton brand.

A lot of watch for the money
This rivals my omega “master chronometer” for accuracy. It is within a couple seconds a day. And the titanium case makes it very light and comfortable to wear.
