Seibon recommends professional installation due to minor adjustments typically required with aftermarket parts. For protection, transferring the original hood's heat shield to the new panel or installing an aftermarket heat shield is advised. Additionally, stock springs or dampers should not be reused, and hood pins are recommended for safety with this carbon fiber hood.
