The GRIP2 damper had a 20mm base valve and 7 shims, while the GRIP X2 has an oversized 24mm base valve and 23 shims. This results in more sensitivity and a wider range of adjustability within the clicks. The increased range of adjustability also means that the GRIP X2 is easier to tune than the GRIP2 since each individual click makes a more noticeable difference in feel.
This upgrade kit will fit any 2016 or newer Fox 34 that is not the Rhythm or Step-Cast series forks.
- This upgrade kit includes (1) Fox 34 GRIP X2 damper
- This upgrade allows you to control High/Low Speed Compression and High/Low Speed Rebound
- Much more sensitive and plush than the FIT4 and FIT RC2 Dampers.
- Pair up your fork with your DHX2 or Float X2 rear shock for matching performance front and rear.
*NOTE - Fox 4wt Suspension Oil is required for the GRIP X2 damper.
