Camshafts are one of the most sufficient ways of making high performance engine to install the high lift camshaft. However, in some engines, it cannot be done to raise the lift without applying smaller base circle of camshaft. Usually, it is dealt with making special valves or grinding valve sheets or installing thick valve shims, yet, all the above taking risks of falling reliability of the engine and raising cost of processing. We designed our valve lifter higher than stock so as to high lift camshaft can be installed only by replacing the valve lifter. Although hydraulic lifter that is used in stock engines of RB20, VG30 or CA18 are contributed in making it maintenance free, it be comes the hindrance of high-speed rotation interns of tuning the engine. Also, since hydraulic lifter cannot adjust its height, it is impossible to use high lift camshaft. Accordingly, the tuning range and performance of RB20, VG30 and CA18 were restricted by H-lifter. On the other hand, In addition, it is required to use special camshaft designed only for the solid type camshaft, which has enlarged buffer part of the valve clearance.

We adopt cold forging process to the high strength chro-moly steel. This enabled to reduce burden to the valves enormously while raising reliability at the super high RPM sharply. The surface was treated with the Carburizing process to increase the surface hardness which raises reliability for longer periods of time even in extreme conditions of performance engines. Carburizing is the process of increasing the carbon content in the metals surface through a heat process to implant carbon atoms into the crystal structure of the metal. This will result in a harder outer surface, while the core remains soft and tough.
