Langner DCP-1 is an all-tube guitar preamp built around five 12AX7A tubes, offering two independent channels with a fully adjustable boost function. The design allows up to four preset sounds selectable from the front panel or via footswitch, covering a wide range from clean tones through high-gain sounds. The dual-channel architecture makes it easy to switch between rhythm and lead levels while maintaining consistent EQ and feel. Langner tones were widely used by Bay Area thrash bands like Testament and Exodus.
