How to install Accortec 16GB DDR4 SDRAM Memory Module

  • Power down your computer, unplug the power cord, and disconnect all peripherals. For servers, follow proper shutdown procedures and ensure redundancy systems are accounted for before opening racks or chassis.
  • Ground yourself to prevent static electricity from damaging sensitive components. Use an anti-static wrist strap or periodically touch a metal surface to discharge any built-up static.
  • Open the computer case or access panel to reveal the motherboard and its memory slots. Identify an available DDR4 DIMM slot and review the motherboard's documentation for any recommended population order, especially if you’re upgrading multiple modules for dual-channel operation.
  • Align the notch on the Accortec memory module with the key in the slot. The 288-pin DIMM will only fit one way, so align carefully to avoid bending pins or damaging the connector.
  • Firmly press the module straight down into the slot until the side latches click into place, securing the module. Apply even pressure with both thumbs along the center of the module to avoid tilting or partial seating.
  • If installing additional modules, repeat the process for each module and ensure you maintain proper channel configuration as recommended by your motherboard or server manual. Re-seat any other components if necessary before powering back on.
  • Replace the case or panel, reconnect power and peripherals, and power up the system. Enter BIOS/UEFI to verify that the 16GB module is recognized and operating at the correct speed. If needed, enable XMP or equivalent memory profile and run a memory diagnostic test to confirm stability and integrity.

Frequently asked questions

  • Q: Is this memory suitable for consumer desktops, servers, or both? A: This is ECC and registered DDR4 RAM in a 288-pin DIMM form factor, which is typically used in servers and workstations that require error correction and buffering. Always verify your motherboard or server's compatibility with ECC RDIMM or registered memory before upgrading, as many consumer desktops do not support ECC RAM.
  • Q: What systems are compatible with 16GB DDR4 ECC Registered modules? A: Compatible systems include servers and workstations designed to take ECC and registered DDR4 RAM. Check your motherboard or system vendor's compatibility list to ensure support for ECC and RDIMM configurations and to confirm supported speeds (2133 MT/s in this case) and slot configurations.
  • Q: Can I mix ECC memory with non-ECC memory? A: Mixing ECC and non-ECC memory is generally not recommended and can lead to unpredictable behavior or reduced reliability. For best results, use identical ECC RAM modules in compatible channels, and consult your system handbook for recommended configurations.
  • Q: What is the benefit of 2133 MHz in this module? A: The 2133 MT/s speed offers a solid balance between performance and compatibility. It provides faster data transfers compared with older DDR3 speeds and helps improve overall system responsiveness in memory-intensive tasks, virtualization workloads, and multitasking scenarios while maintaining stability through ECC and Registered features.
  • Q: What does the lifetime warranty cover? A: The lifetime warranty typically covers manufacturing defects and failure under normal use for the lifetime of the product. It ensures access to replacement or repair options and customer support. Always review the warranty terms from the manufacturer for specifics and coverage limitations.

Super soft and adorable!
Size: 9 Toddler, Color: Macaroon
Bought these shoes for my daughter as an alternative to the classic jellies! The are butter soft! She’s been wearing them consistently for weeks now and not a single blister as formed. (Unlike when she wore the classic style ones) I’m even buying my niece a pair for her birthday because she is now jealous! The color is perfect for any outfit or occasion. They can be dressed up or down which makes them the ideal shoe! And of course super easy to clean which is of course a major factor in kids’ shoes!

LOVE these shoes
Size: 8 Toddler, Color: Macaroon
Absoultely LOVE these! So easy to wear for my 3 year old and put on. They are sturdy and could be rinsed off. They were very comfortable for her and left no marks on her skin. Warning to parents, if your kid steps on your foot it hurts like hell because they are like spikes under the shoe. GREAT for traction and running, but man it hurts. I will purchase more next summer. Great price, great fit, and lightweight.

Cute but run BIG!
Size: 8 Toddler, Color: Macaroon
I can't get the jellies from Children's Place anymore. They are causing blisters. Wanted to try these but boy, they run HUGE. My daughters sneakers are Toddler sz 8. They are starting to get tight. So got a 9 in these. WAY big all around. So got an 8. Still, too big but will save those for next Summer. Would try a 7 but the price rose. Seem soft though and I like the brown color! Would recommend but sizing is difficult. Not just in length but all around they are bigger.

Sleek, upscale and supremely comfortable
Size: 9, Color: Cognac
I did not know that Marc Joseph makes hands free slip ins. I own four pair of Skechers, and I thought they were the only game in town. I decided that I wanted a pair of business casual pair of wingtips. I already own two pair of Skechers Mark Nason wingtips in blue and black nubuck, so I bought a pair of their cognac colored. Perfectly fine shoes, but when they arrived, I didn't like the color, so the search was on! I found these cognac-colored Mark Joseph's and hands down, they fit the bill for what I was looking for! I actually bought two more pair of Skechers in the brown family in the same oxford, elastic lace style: One pair of another style of their Mark Nason line and one pair of their Garza line. So now I am comparing three pair of Skechers to the Marc Joseph's. Obsessive, I know :). Luckily, I have a Skechers store near me for easy returns. The look I was going for is a sleek, business casual that I could dress up or down. Three things that I love about the Marc Joseph's are the beautiful cognac finish: the white yet lower profile soles and the more formal, narrower toe style. The MJ's nailed it with the color. They have a slightly darker, more lustrous and glossier look than the others. The color alone looks classier and pairs well with black pants which I wear for work almost every day. The white soles are exactly what I was looking for. The visible rise is probably about a third of the thickness of the others and are a much more subtle, classier look. They offset the cognac color nicely but are not that in your face, sneaker looking, thick white sole. When I was comparing them to the others right out of the box, I thought they would be too narrow and tight because they looked sleeker and narrower than the others. But they fit perfectly and were very comfortable right out of the box. Upon closer inspection and comparison, I realized the narrower, sleeker look is because the eyelets for the elastic shoelaces are closer together that give the illusion that the shoe is narrower. They compensate for what might create a tighter fit across the top of your foot with two stretchy "gores" they are called on either side of the upper part. The "slits" are nicely finished, and you can't see the stretchy part and add a nice design touch to the shoe. But between them and the elastic shoelaces, they must stretch just enough to make them extremely comfortable across the top. So, if you have a high instep/arch, they should accommodate it nicely. Last but not least, they are very comfortable shoes. I wear a size 8 1/2 to 9 and my foot is slightly on the wide side. I bought the size 9's and they fit perfectly. If you are between sizes or have wider feet, you may want to size up a half size. Because the Skechers have much thicker soles, they might be slightly more cushioned, but the MJ's are cushioned more than enough for my purposes and very comfortable. Plus, they actually just feel better on my feet. I can't speak to how durable they will be as I just got them, but so far, so good. So, there you have it. I rely on other people's reviews a lot when buying online, and especially for shoes. I know it's always a crap shoot, particularly when buying shoes online, so I hope this review helps. Everybody's feet are different, but I highly recommend these.
