How to Apply Semi-Cured Gel Nail Wraps
1. Prep Your Nails
Start with clean, dry nails. Push back cuticles and wash hands with a degreasing dish soap (like Dawn), or use an alcohol wipe or acetone to remove any oils or residue.
2. Choose Your Size
Pick a strip that fits your nail or is slightly smaller. Avoid touching skin or cuticles—this helps the wrap stay sealed longer. You can gently stretch the strip if needed.
3. Apply the Wrap
Peel off the clear top layer and apply the wrap, sticky side down. Press it on using the wooden stick or rubber cuticle pusher included. Smooth the edges to prevent lifting.
4. Cure Under UV Light
Once applied, cure the wraps under a UV LED lamp for 60-120 seconds to fully harden the gel. Don’t have a lamp? You can find one under the Semi-Cured Gels tab on our site.
5. Trim & File
Trim off any overhang with nail clippers or curved scissors. Then file in a downward motion to seal the edges and prevent peeling.
6. (Optional) Add Top Coat
For added gloss and durability, apply a clear UV gel top coat and cure as directed. It gives your manicure an extra sleek, long-lasting finish.
7. Store Leftover Strips
Keep unused wraps in their original dark packaging, away from light, to prevent premature curing.
How to Remove Semi-Cured Nail Wraps
Gently lift a corner to break the seal. Soak with nail polish remover or warm coconut oil, and use a cuticle stick to ease them off without damaging your nails. Never peel or rip them off dry.
