PROFILE


The ARM M240i Midpipe significantly improves the sound of your B58, giving it the aggressive exhaust note you're looking for from a tuned B58-powered BMW. Designed to amplify the power and sound of your B58, the ARM M240i Midpipe eliminates the two central resonators found in the stock M240i midpipe.  By retaining the OEM muffler you still have the ability to control the volume of your exhaust.  Switch your car into Sport Plus and enjoy the sounds of the upgraded B58 sing, or flip it into comfort mode to drive through the neighborhood.  You can select the ARM Single Exit Exhaust option to turn your ARM M240i Midpipe into a full 3.25" straight-piped system, for maximum volume and weight savings.



 


CONSTRUCTION


Designed in house and tested on our own M240i, the ARM M240i Midpipe will allow for perfect fitment, sitting well within the recess for the exhaust underneath the vehicle. It has also been engineered to sit at or above any other portions of the car, giving you adequate clearance, even if you're on a lowered suspension.



The ARM M240i Midpipe is designed to fit either the OEM downpipe, or any upgraded downpipe that fits the OEM midpipe.  The ARM M240i Midpipe utilizes the OEM midpipe mounting location to secure the midpipe during aggressive driving.  


The ARM M240i Midpipe is comprised of two sections, the longer front section and the shorter rear section.  The two sections of the ARM M240i Midpipe are joined with a slip-fit style connection and high quality performance-grade exhaust clamps.  The ARM M240i Midpipe upgrade deletes the two OEM resonators opening up the sound of your B58. 



The ARM M240i Midpipe utilizes a full 3.25” system throughout, from the downpipe all the way to the muffler. If you replace the entire OEM set up with the ARM M240i Single Exit Exhaust you will save over 20lbs!

I put a banana in the picture next to this massive 10-pound bag for scale, though I wouldn't recommend leaving the fruit out there unless you want to feed the local raccoons instead. The most surprising part of this bag is the smell—it has a very strong, sweet cherry scent right out of the bag that genuinely seems to bring in the local cardinals and blue jays faster than plain seed. THE GOOD: • The cherry flavoring actually works as an attractant, and the sheer volume of seed you get for the price makes this an excellent value for high-traffic yards. • It brings in a huge variety of ground-feeding birds, especially mourning doves and juncos. THE TRADE-OFF: • This is a "value" mix, which means it contains a very high percentage of filler seeds like milo and cracked corn. Finicky songbirds will actively kick the milo out of the hanging feeder to get to the black oil sunflower seeds, creating a massive pile of rejected seed on the ground. THE BOTTOM LINE: A great-smelling, budget-friendly birdseed that attracts a ton of wildlife, provided you don't mind the ground-feeders cleaning up the mess underneath.
