I mainly embroider t-shirt logos. Which frame size is the most appropriate for me?
For left-chest logos on t-shirts, the 3.9″ × 3.9″ (100 × 100 mm) MaggieFrame magnetic embroidery hoop is ideal. It offers excellent fabric grip and accurate placement for small logo embroidery. If you plan to stitch larger full-front designs or jacket backs, consider larger magnet hoops such as 10″ × 10″ (254 × 254 mm) or above for a better embroidery area and stability on industrial machines like Ricoma or Tajima.
Does the size in the product title refer to the dimensions or the actual embroidery field?
The size listed in the product title, such as 3.9″ × 3.9″ (100 × 100 mm), indicates the inner embroidery field of the MaggieFrame magnetic hoop. It reflects the usable stitching area for your machine. Always allow about 0.3″ (around 7–8 mm) margin inside this area to prevent stitching too close to the hoop edge and to maintain stable fabric tension during embroidery operations.
If I have computers or USB drives near my embroidery station, could the strong magnets damage my electronic data?
