The AFS2 Footswitch from Ampeg is the perfect pairing for controlling all of your Ampeg bass amp’s tones and effects onstage. This dual-button latching footswitch allows you to enable various controls, such as mute, EQ, and Ampeg’s legendary Super Grit Technology (SGT) proprietary overdrive circuit. A strong, sturdy metal housing ensures the AFS2 will withstand wear and tear from gigging. Plus, with an included 10-foot right angle/straight-connector TRS cable.
The Ampeg AFS2’s dual-switch channel assignment works as follows:
- Portaflex PF-500/800 and SVT-7PRO: The left switch controls mute, and the right switch controls your amp’s FX loop on/off.
- SVT-3PRO and 4PRO: The left switch controls mute, and the right switch controls your amp’s graphic EQ on/off.
- Rocket Bass Combos: The left switch controls the SGT on/off, and the right switch is unassigned (no secondary footswitchable functionality).
- BA-112/115/210 Combos: The left switch controls the Scrambler on/off, and the right switch is unassigned (no secondary footswitchable functionality).
