Step into a UNC-inspired legend with the Jordan 4 Retro University Blue GS. This kids’-size drop brings the iconic Air Jordan 4 silhouette to life in a vibrant University Blue suede that’s as bold as it is comfortable. Built for play, school days, and everyday street wear, this release captures the legacy of the AJ4 while speaking to today’s young sneakerheads. What makes this pair stand out
- Distinctive color story: University Blue suede upper paired with black accents for a striking, fashion-forward look that pairs effortlessly with jeans, joggers, or athletic wear.
- Retro detailing with a modern touch: Classic cement detailing on the heel nods to the original AJ4 lineage, while the small visible Air unit at the heel delivers responsive cushioning for all-day comfort.
- Signature Jumpman branding: Subtle-yet-prominent Jumpman icons on the back, tongue, and sole add authentic flair without overpowering the clean colorway.
- Functional design elements: Black plastic lace holders on the throat provide a secure fit and a bold contrast against the blue suede, enhancing both style and stability during activity.
- GS sizing, built for kids: Specifically sized for grade school feet, delivering the same design language and cushioning you expect from the adults’ version in a kid-friendly fit. Engineered for comfort, built for performance
- Suede upper with durable construction ensures a premium feel that stands up to daily wear—whether you’re hitting the court, strolling the playground, or styling a weekend outfit.
- Visible Air unit in the heel: Lightweight impact protection helps cushion landings and reduce fatigue during long days at school or after-school basketball.
- Cushioned midsole and supportive collar: A secure, comfortable fit that wraps the ankle without restricting movement, ideal for growing feet and active days.
- All-day traction: The rubber outsole provides grip and stability for quick cuts, sprints, and casual basketball drills, so you can move with confidence. Who this is ideal for
- Young athletes and sneaker enthusiasts who crave a retro Jordan look with modern comfort in a kid-friendly size.
- Parents seeking a versatile sneaker that elevates school outfits while doubling as a performance shoe for practice and recreating on the court.
- Collectors and fans of UNC-inspired colorways who want a standout piece in GS sizing that mirrors the iconic AJ4 silhouette. Why this is a smarter choice for your collection
- It isn’t just about color—it's about a thoughtful blend of heritage and practicality. The University Blue suede is eye-catching without being flashy, while cement detailing ties back to the lineage of the Air Jordan 4. The all-important cushioning from the visible Air unit makes this more than a stylish look; it’s a sneaker designed to support active days.
- The mix of suede, black lace holders, and Jumpman branding creates a versatile daily driver that’s easy to pair with a range of outfits—from school uniforms to casual streetwear.
- Compared to other retro Jordans in GS sizes, this pair emphasizes a bold colorway and a faithful homage to the AJ4’s design cues, giving young wearers a premium feel and confident stance on and off the court. Care and care tips to extend its life
- Protect the suede: Use a suede brush to lift nap and remove surface dirt after wear. Avoid excessive moisture; if exposed to rain, blot gently and let air dry away from direct heat.
- Clean accents gently: Wipe plastic lace holders and Jumpman branding with a soft, damp cloth to keep the contrast sharp.
- Store with care: Keep them in a cool, dry place and consider a shoe tree or tissue to maintain shape between uses. Practical tips for getting the most out of your Jordan 4 Retro University Blue GS
- Styling ideas: Pair with dark denim or joggers for a bold streetwear look, or dress up with khaki shorts and a simple tee to let the blue pop. For school days, these sneakers elevate a uniform-inspired outfit with a modern twist.
- Sizing guidance: GS sizing is tailored for kids’ feet and can help ensure a comfortable fit across active days. If you’re between sizes, consider going up a half size to accommodate growing feet and thicker socks during colder months.
- Longevity focus: Reserve suede care routines for scheduled cleanings rather than after every wear to preserve texture and color depth over time. Product snapshot

not bad
Format: Kindle
I loved the plot of this book. The characters just didn’t have a lot of depth. The connections and “love” just weren’t communicated very well in the writing. The author didn’t write the sweet psycho trope very well at all either. Lachlan was just a mess of a character.

A Beta Worth Rooting For
Format: Kindle
In Spare, Violet Fox flips the omegaverse on its head, giving us a Beta heroine determined to make her mark. Joining the Beta Trials to support her sick father, she's thrown into a pack that doesn't want her, especially the possessive Alphas.
But here's the twist: their sweet Omega turns out to be her scent match. Cue the angst, forbidden tension, and a slow-burn romance that will make your heart ache in the best way.
Violet Fox delivers an emotional, refreshing take on the genre, proving Betas aren't "spares." They're stars.

Beta, Alpha, Omega oh my!
Format: Kindle
Omegas are precious and given to Alphas & their packs... but the Betas want in too. To this end, the Beta government is rolling out its trial of assigning a Beta to each Alpha-Omega pack. But forcing a Beta into a pack where they are not wanted will not end well... Of course, no one expected the Omega to fall for the assigned Beta. Great read and cliffhanger

A familiar story, just with…..less.
Format: Kindle
So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters.
That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception.
SPOILER:
The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured.
I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.

Good start to a series
Format: Kindle
I delayed reading the series for reasons I don’t remember. But my TBR list is huge so I thought I’d take a shot of this and I was pleasantly surprised. I didn’t think the blurb about it was anything special. But it was a very good book. It took some interesting twists and turns. I am so glad the second book is already out. Because I would not have waited patiently. Very slow burn but good storyline. 🔥🔥/5
