Kungens Män from Stockholm, Sweden has been around as a musical unit since 2012. The roots as friends go way back though. Noises, impulses, fuck-ups, and improvised jams have been recorded since day one and some of them have been put out on record. This is the first one on Riot Season. While the previous album Fuzz På Svenska (2018) on the German label Adansonia Records was somewhat jazzy and pretty introverted, this new one Chef is more rock and to the point, but still in the exploring, heady way typical of Kungens Män. Oh, Chef doesn't have anything to do with cooking - it means "boss" or "chief" in Swedish. The inspiration comes from the drone, the rattle of the loose screw, the circuit failure of the effects, the phat-ness of the Moog and from the very diverse wiring of a bunch of middle-aged Swedish freaks. Kungens Män never plan the next musical move - it presents itself. Sometimes the costume sewn is really ugly, but somehow there's always room for the sublime as you turn it inside out. Chef is the most effective Kungens Män album yet. Four pieces, one LP. Four different moods, the Kungens Män sound distilled. Dive in, walk around, start over again. It never stops. My New Favorite Socks

These have quickly become mine and my mom's favorite socks. We wear them with tennis shoes, Hey Dudes, and more. The fabric is incredibly soft and comfortable, they do not budge/fall in my shoe, and are extremely well made. I have become so attached to these socks, that I no longer want any other brand.

Comfortable and Durable No-Show Socks

Will last a good while despite not being overly thick.

I purchased these socks about 14 months ago and I use them regularly with maybe five other pairs of socks made by a different brand. No holes so far. I used to buy Hanes and they barely lasted a week before I had to throw a pair of them out. I still use all six of these socks (assuming I can find them!) I often walk outside on my cement patio or tiptoe through the grass in socks so I am a little tough on them I guess you could say. I'm also very active. I don't exercise at a gym and thus don't use them in tennis shoes but walk most of the day when at home. I run around in my yard doing yard work and gardening. I also have worn them regularly at work while walking around in my steel toed shoes (which rub) and they somehow lived through that. They still look fine: no discoloration or weak spots in the heel which is usually the first sign of wear for me.
They are comfortable too. I don't feel any line at the toes and they don't rub or fit too tight in any way. I love the height of these, they are so short that they slip down in your shoe but not overly tall (I don't like the look and feel of tall socks). They are also lightweight and very breathable.
So great quality for the price. I'd recommend and I will likely buy the same brand in the future.
