Each cow on my grandparents' farm was distinct; some were more friendly, and some more playful. Then there was Lola; she was always a little moody and took a bit more time to warm up to people. As an adult, I realize how amazing it is that these cows are as distinct as people. I got to know each personally and celebrate their individuality in my art.
