Presets are arranged into 50 banks, each centered on a legendary bass amp and providing three Tone Model options per bank. Onboard effects are set up to enhance every setup, offering players a broad range of tones suitable for any genre.

A key upgrade is enhanced Dry/Wet phase correlation, ensuring tight, phase-aligned blends of direct and processed signals. This results in a richer low end with minimal frequency cancellation—ideal for tones that combine DI clarity with amp-driven edge.

Powered by IK’s AI Machine Modeling® technology, TONEX accurately reflects the true character of real bass gear. Use the included TONEX MAX software to model your own rig or explore over 1,100 Premium Tone Models plus thousands more from ToneNET, including Signature and Tone Partner Collections.

Tone Models can be accessed not only from the pedal but also through the TONEX software, offering bassists a complete and flexible tone ecosystem.

VIR CABINET: Use IK’s award-winning multiple impulse response VIR™ cabinet and mic simulation to pick the perfect cab for any situation. 
IR LOADER: Load any custom IR you like to explore combinations of Tone Models and your own impulse responses.

Designed and crafted in Italy, the TONEX Pedal features a rugged aluminum chassis for reliable performance. Its 24-bit, 192 kHz processing, an extremely wide 5 Hz – 24 kHz response, and a whisper-quiet 123 dB noise floor ensure your instrument’s tone sounds as good as it ever has— even before it hits TONEX’s incredible modeling.

Use the included TONEX software not only to model your rig, but also as a standalone app or a plug-in integrated with your DAW to enjoy the exact tone you use live in your studio productions.

For seamless editing, the TONEX Pedal features a standalone editor that allows you to make real-time adjustments using a connected pedal. It provides access to your entire TONEX library, including Tone Models, presets, and ToneNET, enabling quick loading of favorites for auditioning and saving to a designated hardware slot on your pedal. 

Plus, the TONEX Pedal also functions as a 24-bit/44.1 kHz USB audio interface, so you don’t need any additional equipment to connect it to your studio, select your tone, and jam out.
