Product Description:
Need to upgrade your FlexVolt rail compatible circular saw? This gives you 35% more power with 6.0Ah batteries or 45% more power with 9.0Ah batteries than the previous generation DCS576 rail saw. DeWalt haven't stopped researching new ways to get as much power out of their 54 volt XR battery platform as possible, and are consistently setting the bar higher and higher. With a 9.0 Amp-hour battery installed in this machine, the DCS579 can output an incredible 2456 Watts of power, allowing you to cut through timber like butter.
This saw shares the same body as the DCS576, which has a functionally ergonomic handle design with rubber overmoulding to improve user comfort and reduce fatigue. There is an auxiliary handle to the front of the tool that gives better stability and confidence during cuts, and there is an E-Brake system that stops the blade rotation very quickly when the trigger is released.
This particular kit is supplied without any batteries, ideal for those upgrading from the previous generation FlexVolt saws, or adding to their existing 54V portfolio. The saw does however come with a T-Stak VI deep stackable kit box, which also has plenty of additional room for a charger and couple of batteries.
