The Fishman Fluence Will Adler Signature Set’s neck humbucker is based on the Fluence Classic, sporting two classic humbucker voices and a more contemporary Fluence-exclusive voice:
- Voice 1: Captures the magic of a vintage PAF humbucker. From dynamic cleans to warm, full-range dirty tones, this setting is ideal for when it’s time to dial down the aggression.
- Voice 2: A Fluence-exclusive neck pickup tone with a sharp, balanced, active humbucking tone.
- Voice 3: The last voice on this humbucker is no humbucker at all — switch to Voice 3 to be rewarded with articulate, cutting single-coil-style sounds.
Classic passive power meets active Fluence technology
While the world of passive pickups primarily inspires the neck pickup, the bridge pickup switches things up by seamlessly merging the new-school clarity of cutting-edge active technology with the bite and dynamics of a high-power ceramic humbucker.
- Voice 1: This voice begins with Will’s favorite passive tone — the one that has largely served as Lamb of God’s rhythmic backbone for over 20 years — then cranks up the articulation and clarity with Fishman Fluence active technology.
- Voice 2: The second voice is based on the Modern Fluence, but with a slightly modified magnet structure. This results in a tone that’s more reminiscent of a passive pickup design, with an enhanced low-end response.
