Following the success of their two studio albums for Kscope (three in total) and their most recent live film 'Ocean Sounds', Russian songwriters Marjana Semkina and Gleb Kolyadin are releasing their latest album as Iamthemorning, titled 'The Bell'. Their dedication to writing forward-thinking and thought-provoking music has seen them build a powerful momentum with a dedicated online and live following. They have been supported by PROG magazine as one of the most important artists in modern progressive music, culminating in winning the Album of the Year award with 'Lighthouse' at the Progressive Music Awards 2016. The duo has also headlined London's prominent stages Bush Hall (with Tim Bowness) and O2 Academy Islington, and their European festival performances include Spain's Be Prog! My Friend, the UK's Ramblin' Man, the Netherland's Midsummer Prog Festival and Marillion Weekend. In 2018 Gleb played as support for Anathema at Kscope's 10thanniversary label concert at the Union Chapel, and Marjana sang with Vincent and Daniel Cavanagh of Anathema for their London show. Where will 2019 take them? As well as some exciting touring planned with Riverside, the band have delivered a new album of impressive depth and playability. A modern blend of rock, classical and folk, 'The Bell' makes use of 19th Century song cycles - a style established by Schubert - that cohesively tells 10 individual stories of pain caused by human cruelty. The lyrical imagery draws on themes from Victorian England's art and culture, which had a prevalent fixation with death. The artwork, created by Constantine Nagishkin, portrays the once popular 'coffin bell' used as an alert system to indicate that a person had been mistakenly buried alive, which was a terrible phobia held by the Victorians. The engineering and mastering were handled by Vlad Avy and recorded in March 2019 across Russia, the UK and Canada in several studios: Mosfilm in Moscow; Lendoc and Red Wave in St Petersburg; Noatune in London; The Studio at Sunbeams, Penrith; and Union Sound Company in Toronto. This LP edition of 'The Bell' is presented on heavyweight 180gm vinyl in a gatefold sleeve complete with a poster booklet.

My dogs favorite toy so far in two years

I use this with my medium sized dog. These are large for him but that's what I want so I don't ever have to think about them being too small or a swallow hazard. He has been through A LOT OF TOYS in the last couple years, but nothing, NOTHING has he loved as much as these.
His favorite used to be squeaker balls. Then his favorite was crackle balls. But he will gladly ignore both for this one. I don't know if it's the bacon flavor or what, but he go nuts for it.

Durable Rubber Bone Toy for Aggressive Chewers
I got this rubber bone chew toy in purple (size large) for my dog, and it's been a solid addition to his toy rotation.
What I Liked:
The bacon flavor is a huge hit. My dog was immediately interested in this toy and goes back to it regularly, which speaks to how appealing the scent is to him. The natural rubber material is tough and has held up well to his aggressive chewing - it's designed for heavy chewers and delivers on that promise. The textured surface is great for dental health. I can see how it helps clean his teeth as he chews, and the grooves are deep enough that you could add dog toothpaste for extra cleaning power. It's a functional toy that serves multiple purposes beyond just entertainment.
The rubber material is softer than hard nylon toys, which gives me peace of mind that it won't damage his teeth during extended chewing sessions. It's still plenty durable but has some give to it that makes it safer. This toy genuinely keeps him busy and engaged. It helps redirect his chewing instincts away from furniture and other household items, and it seems to help with anxiety when I need to leave him alone for a bit. At $8.99 (down from $15.99), this is an excellent value for a durable, functional chew toy.
What Could Be Improved:
While it's marketed for all sizes from small to large breeds, I think it works best for medium to large dogs. Small dogs might find the large size a bit cumbersome. The bacon scent is strong initially, but it will fade over time with use and cleaning. Also, we all know it's a little... interesting looking haha.
Overall:
This is a high-quality, durable chew toy perfect for aggressive chewers. The bacon flavor, dental benefits, and tough construction make it a winner. It keeps dogs engaged, helps maintain dental hygiene, and redirects destructive chewing behaviors. At under $9 (well, it is right now, at least), it's a great value and makes an excellent gift for any dog owner dealing with a heavy chewer. Highly recommended.

The Purple Power Chew My Dog Thinks Is His Life’s Mission
I bought this purple rubber bone hoping it would survive longer than the usual 10 minutes my dog needs to destroy a “durable” toy. Shockingly, this one is still alive and thriving. Honestly, I think it might outlive me.
The material is tough enough for aggressive chewers, but still bouncy and fun, which means my dog is entertained AND my furniture gets a break. It’s the perfect size for medium to large dogs, and it keeps mine busy like he’s working an important full-time job.
He tosses it, chases it, gnaws on it with total devotion… and somehow it barely shows a scratch. The purple color is a bonus, easy to spot in the yard, and it makes him look very fashionable in his ferocious-chewer era.
If your dog believes every toy is a challenge to conquer, this chew toy just might be the worthy opponent they’ve been waiting for. 💜🐶

Better Than Most, But Still No Match for My Super Chewer
This is a decent chew. It’s made of a softer rubber material and has little to no odor, which I appreciate. It’s been about a week, and while it’s still technically in one piece, it’s starting to show some cracks and tiny puncture holes.
Now, keep in mind, my 100-lb pit mix Scooby Doo is a full on chew and destroy hound. If it can be chewed, he’ll find a way to shred it to bits. This toy held up longer than a lot of others but still didn’t make the “indestructible” cut in our house. He likes it, but it’s not his top pick, probably why it’s still alive.
Overall, it’s a good toy for the price. Probably not for extreme power chewers like Scoob, but it’ll hold up fine for most dogs and give you a little peace and quiet for a while. Do give it a try, Scooby Doo is a chewer in a class of his own, the fact that this has held up past a one 15 minute session is amazing in itself.
