The Eaton Powerware FERRUPS 4300VA Tower UPS is engineered to safeguard your essential equipment and keep operations moving when the power grid falters. With a substantial capacity of 4300 VA (approximately 3000 W), this back-up power solution is tailored for non-computer technology and linear loads, including monitors, lights, and heaters. Its tower design fits neatly beside desks, on shelves, or in small equipment rooms, delivering reliable backup power without abruptly interrupting workflows. Whether you’re protecting a home office, a small shop, or a dedicated display area, this UPS provides an uninterrupted bridge from outage to restoration, helping you maintain productivity and protect valuable data and hardware.

  • High-capacity power supply: The Eaton FERRUPS delivers up to 4300 VA and 3000 W of backup power, enabling you to run multiple devices at once. It’s ideal for keeping essential non-computer loads online during a blackout, such as computer peripherals, displays, fans, and climate-control equipment, giving you time to save work and safely shut down if needed.
  • Compatibility with non-computer loads: This UPS is purpose-built for non-computer technology or linear loads, including monitors, lighting, heaters, and other household or light commercial equipment. By prioritizing these loads, it provides tailored protection where many standard computer-focused UPS systems may fall short, making it a versatile choice for homes, classrooms, retail displays, and light industrial settings.
  • Protection against data loss: By delivering immediate, clean power during outages, the FERRUPS 4300VA helps prevent abrupt shutdowns that can lead to data corruption or loss. It creates a critical window to save work, close files gracefully, and maintain system integrity even when the main power suddenly disappears.
  • Reliable protection and surge suppression: Beyond simply supplying power, this UPS buffers against voltage fluctuations, surges, and brownouts that can stress connected equipment. The result is extended hardware life, reduced downtime, and a more predictable performance profile for spaces that rely on steady, consistent power delivery.
  • Tower form factor with straightforward deployment: The compact tower design saves valuable floor space and is easy to position beside desks or equipment racks. It offers accessible outlets and simple cabling, allowing quick installation and minimal clutter in home or small office environments while maintaining a professional, organized setup.

switched each outlet extension cord
This is a great extension cord. The plug is flat to the wall and offset so you can use 2 plugs together in one double wall outlet. The extension cord has a switch for each outlet to turn on or off each outlet. You can control all your lights and fans from one place, also has USB-C = 2each and USB-A = 2each. Cord is extra long to find a wall outlet, colored white to blend in.

Great Power Strip to save energy.
I bought this power strip for my coffee maker, frothier, and water purification system. All of these items are never in use all day long and pull electricity if remained plugged in. Which means they cost me money when not in use. This power strip makes it energy efficient to have appliances plugged in and ready to use while saving on energy costs. I used my label maker to identify which switch was which. I plugged in the appliances to the power strip and shut off all the switches. And it works great. When I want to turn on the coffee machine I flip the switch that says Coffee Machine and know that I am only turning on that one appliance not all. That is the problem with most power strips. You have a master switch that turns them all on. This power strip turns one on at a time. Or you can turn all on by flipping each switch or two on at the same time. You are in control. I liked it so much that I bought two more. One for the kitchen appliances (Foodsaver, hot water kettle, etc.) and one for the home office. Can turn on shredder, and other computer devices as I need to.

Solved Specific Need
Size: 10 Ft (Type B with Clamp), Color: White
Nice product which solved a problem of needing USB power clamped to a very thick work table. Most power strips with a clamp do not accommodate thick tables between 1.75" and 2" so I was happy to find this one. Successfully provides power to all my USB devices even a laptop (although charging is a bit slower compared to the OEM power adapter).

One minor bug
Size: 10 Ft (Type B with Clamp), Color: Black
I received this today and mounted it to the table I have next to my recliner. I plugged it into a remote control outlet so I can turn everything off at once. I used two of the AC outlets for the power recliner. I then plugged a USB powered fan into one of the USB-A ports. I plugged the power cable from a set of speakers positioned next to the headrest of the recliner into the other USB-A port. I used one of the USB C outlets to charge my tablet. When I hit the switch on the remote control to turn off power to the strip before going to bed I discovered a bug. The only way I can describe it is a cross port power bleed. After killing power to the strip my speakers were still playing, not well as they had static. I discovered by trial and error that if I unplugged my tablet the problem stopped. Apparently if you have something with a battery plugged into one of the USB ports and have something plugged into the other USB ports it pulls power from the device with the battery to try and power the other devices plugged in. Other than this one problem it seems to be just what I was looking for.
