BOYFRIEND SWEATER – L YARNThe "BOYFRIEND" sweater was inspired by a beloved piece that was borrowed repeatedly. My daughters would often take a sweater from their dad, sometimes wearing it inside out without even realizing which side was showing. That inspired a new idea. I created the Boyfriend sweater to be fully reversible, allowing it to be worn either side out. With a soft, generous fit and thoughtful construction, it's the perfect piece for throwing on and going out.

The "BOYFRIEND" sweater was inspired by a beloved piece that was borrowed repeatedly. My daughters would often take a sweater from their dad, sometimes wearing it inside out without even realizing which side was showing. That inspired a new idea. I created the Boyfriend sweater to be fully reversible, allowing it to be worn either side out. With a soft, generous fit and thoughtful construction, it's the perfect piece for throwing on and going out. It's cozy, unisex, and made for sharing—or keeping all to yourself.

The "BOYFRIEND" sweater is reversible, therefore, you can, according to taste, wear the sweater with either the "right" or the "wrong" side showing. 

The sweater is worked from the right side in the round, from the bottom up. Purl stitches or faux seam stitches are used to highlight the side seams of the body and the underside of the sleeves. The sleeves and body are joined on one circular needle at the armholes, and the yoke is shaped with raglan decreases on either side of the faux raglan seam stitches, which enhance the raglan design. When you need to change yarns, do so at the faux seam stitches on the sides of the body, the undersides of the arms, or at the raglan decreases. This ensures a smooth transition and provides the opportunity to weave in ends along the faux seams.
