Northwestern Energy commissioned this poster commemorating its purchase late last year of 11 Montana hydroelectric facilities, including five hydroelectric dams near Great Falls.
"The dams and river are part of my background and history," Dolack said. "I feel a sense of connectedness to that dam and landscape."
"Growing up in Great Falls, I knew those dams created emission-free, cheap power that didn't impede any fish runs because the natural waterfalls were already too steep for fish to scale," Dolack said. "The dams were well built more than 100 years ago, have been well maintained and provided clean energy for Great Falls industries and residents." - Monte Dolack
