Recommended Use • Ideal for industrial engines and heavy duty commercial trucks with high ground clearance.
• Important: Not recommended for vehicles with low ground clearance.
• Trusted by industries like Caterpillar, Cummins, Daimler, Freightliner, Kenworth, Paccar, Peterbilt, Volvo, etc.
Installation Steps 1. Prepare: Place the blue fiber gasket flat onto the valve base. Clean the oil pan drain port area completely.
2. Install: Thread the valve into the port by hand to avoid cross-threading. Tighten with a crescent wrench on the valve body 1/8 to 1/4 turn past hand tight (or 44 ft-lbs). Do not use a wrench on the nipple head.
3. Close: Firmly turn the control lever clockwise until it clicks and locks into the recess (perpendicular to the oil outlet). Install lever clip.
Operation • To Open: Remove the lever clip, lift the control lever upward, and turn it counter-clockwise.
• To Close: Turn the lever clockwise until it firmly stops and seats inside its safety locking recess slot. Re-install the lever clip.
