A superb example of the souvenir trade for the "Grand Tour". In Italy, the term micro mosaic is used for all the jewelry made using the mosaic technique, no matter the size of the tesserae, but the smaller the size of the tesserae the more expensive the jewelry piece will be.
In very good vintage condition with very little tarnish at the back, it retains its original allure with no missing tesserae. It is finished with a safety pin clasp. It is unmarked but definitely made in Italy.
