This large magnetic hoop size is ideal for full jacket backs, sweatshirt centers, tote bags, and big decorative panels. On REDLINE Pro 1501 and similar industrial embroidery machines, it provides wide coverage for intricate designs, making fabric alignment smooth and fast, while keeping large embroidery surfaces perfectly taut.
I mainly embroider t-shirt logos. Which frame size is the most appropriate for me?
For left-chest or small t-shirt logos, MaggieFrame recommends smaller magnetic hoops such as 4″ × 4″ (100 × 100 mm) or 5″ × 5″ (130 × 130 mm) sizes for your REDLINE embroidery machine. These provide perfect control and prevent fabric distortion, while larger hoops like 12.4″ × 15.6″ are more suited for full-front or back designs.
Are there any pro tips for using this magnetic frame with very thin or stretchy fabrics?
Yes. When hooping delicate fabrics such as silk or Spandex on a REDLINE machine, never stretch the material. Instead, lay fabric and stabilizer smoothly over the bottom frame, keeping it relaxed. Allow the magnetic hoop’s own pressure to hold it gently, ensuring smooth surfaces without fabric puckering or distortion during embroidery.
