Mobiltac 375 NC is ExxonMobil's extra high performance, non-leaded, diluent-type open gear lubricant — engineered for the most demanding marine deck machinery, offshore equipment and high-temperature mining open gear applications. Available through Orbit Industrial as an authorised Mobil distributor.
The non-chlorinated volatile solvent carrier ensures fluidity during application even at low temperatures. Once applied, the diluent evaporates and the lubricant forms a flexible, adhesive, high-strength film that adheres strongly to gear teeth and machine elements — resisting throw-off and providing continuous boundary lubrication throughout the service life of the equipment.
Why Mobiltac NC Over Older Open Gear Technologies
Mobiltac NC represents a significant advance over earlier diluent-type open gear lubricants — providing improved environmental performance (non-leaded, non-chlorinated) alongside better protection under boundary lubrication conditions, better water washing resistance and easier cold-temperature application. It will not harden, chip or flake in cold weather, is self-healing and does not form hard-packed buildup in gear-tooth roots.

Recommended Applications — Mobiltac 375 NC
Mobiltac 375 NC, containing a high-viscosity base oil (KV 5,000 cSt @ 40°C diluted), is recommended for the lubrication of highly loaded open gears operating at elevated temperatures — including ring gears on cement kilns, large gears on ore-processing mills, and marine deck machinery under heavy continuous load. Minimum operating temperature: -1°C. Maximum operating temperature: 121°C.
