For hydrated, defined curls, follow these steps when using Aveda Be Curly Conditioner:

1. Start on freshly shampooed, damp hair: After shampooing, gently squeeze out excess water from your hair to allow the conditioner to penetrate effectively
2. Apply an appropriate amount:  Dispense a generous amount of conditioner based on your hair length and thickness. Rub the product between your palms to warm it up.
3. Distribute evenly: Apply the conditioner from mid-lengths to ends, focusing on areas that need the most moisture. Use your fingers or a wide-tooth comb to gently detangle and ensure even distribution.
4. Leave it on: Allow the conditioner to sit for 2-5 minutes, letting it deeply hydrate and nourish your curls.
5. Rinse thoroughly: Rinse your hair with cool or lukewarm water to seal the cuticle and lock in moisture. Make sure to remove all residue for optimal curl definition.
6. Use as a leave-in for extra moisture: For particularly dry or frizz-prone hair, you can apply a small amount of conditioner as a leave-in treatment to the ends before styling.
