Alpine 2-Dog LeadThis version of the Alpine Lead has been designed to accommodate 2 dogs on the same lead. The upper part of the lead is a short (18) Alpine Lead that is finished with a heavy duty swivel. The bottom part of the lead is a 54 splitter that has a bolt snap on each end allowing you to attach two dogs. This version of the Alpine Lead has been designed to accommodate 2 dogs on the same lead. The upper part of the lead is a short (18”) Alpine Lead that is finished with a heavy-duty swivel. The bottom part of the lead is a 54” splitter that has a bolt snap on each end allowing you to attach two dogs. The 2-Dog lead also comes with our unique “SlideLok” which is made right here at Timberwolf and is hand tuned to be just the right tension. The SlideLok allows you to easily adjust the length between the two dogs (side-by-side or one behind the other) and is ideal for dogs of different ages or energies. Once you have made your adjustments, pull the Slide-Lok up against the swivel and it locks the adjustment in place. Available in two rope thicknesses, 7/16” (about ½”) for larger dogs (over 40lbs) and 5/16” (just over a ¼”) for dogs under 40lbs, two lengths (72”, 48”) and 19 different colors and patterns. Please note, due to the combined weight and pulling strength of two dogs, we recommend that you use the thicker (7/16” diameter) when one of the dogs exceeds 40lbs.
