Head over Heels is the second studio album by Scottish alternative rock band Cocteau Twins. The album was released on 24 October 1983 through the label 4AD. It featured the band's signature sound of "Guthrie's lush guitars under Fraser's mostly wordless vocals" and is considered an archetype of early ethereal wave music.

Ned Raggett in The Guardian wrote that Fraser's singing was more direct in the mix than it had been on the band's first album, Garlands, and although her lyrics were still often understandable, she "began to shift away from conventional vocabulary towards enigmatic, emotional sound" on Head Over Heels. Writing for The Quietus, journalist Julian Marszalek said that with this album, "Fraser's voice became just as much an instrument" as those played by her musicians", including Guthrie's "multi-layered and heavily reverberated guitars". He also remarked: "'In Our Angelhood' probably fits the bill best and it's a track that wouldn't have sounded out of place on Siouxsie and the Banshees' Kaleidoscope". "The Tinderbox (Of a Heart)" conveys a sense of menace and danger, while the closing track "Musette and Drums" features sweeping guitars and chimes. Cam Lindsay of Exclaim! wrote that "'Multifoiled' has a phlegmatic rockabilly lean to it, 'In Our Angelhood' is both post-punk and proto-shoegaze, and the dizzying 'Sugar Hiccup' could singlehandedly be the conception of dream pop."

The inner side is very soft. It's comfortable to use, and for us, did not trigger any sensory issues. It's got a decent weight for a throw, but isn't obnoxious about it. This throw is enough to keep warm without overheating. At the current price of $39.99, it seems like a good deal. I did remove 1 star for the weird coating, but will update as appropriate.

Quality Faux Fur Throw

This blanket is nice and soft. It's an off-white color with one side being faux fur and the other being smooth. It is packaged tight but once unfolded it fluffs out nicely. I have another blanket made by this company and those blankets wash well, although I haven't had this one in the wash just yet. I tend to let the other faux fur blankets I have air dry and that usually works fine. I would caution against high heat on these. Ideally if you follow the cleaning instructions you should be fine though. The cost is on par with most box stores, decent value for what it is. It isn't super heavy and makes a nice throw for various scenarios. It does have a false leather patch on the front side which I am not a huge fan of. That sort of takes away from the authentic fur feel, but it isn't a huge drawback. I show that in one of my photos. Feels nice and cozy and would make a nice book nook blanket or chair covering. No chemical smells or anything like that. Overall very pleased with the product and I definitely recommend this brand from this and prior purchases.
