This romantic antique French toi et moi ring was crafted during the La Belle Époque (c. 1871–1914) — a time celebrated for elegance and artistic refinement. “Toi et moi”, meaning “you and me”, symbolises two souls united, making this design one of the most sentimental in jewellery history.

The ring features a bright Old European cut diamond of approximately 0.27 ct and a soft, lustrous cultured pearl, separated by delicate diamond chips. The creamy pearl contrasts beautifully with the lively sparkle of the diamond, creating a timeless and romantic composition on the hand.

The diamond is original to the ring; the pearl may be a sympathetic later replacement — not unusual for pieces of this age. The stones are set in white gold or platinum, while the intricately channelled band is 18ct yellow gold.
