Designed for harsh industrial environments where uptime and power delivery are non-negotiable, the Advantech EKI-7712G and EKI-7708G-2FVP deliver a versatile, scalable network edge. These switches blend high-density PoE capability with flexible uplinks and last-mile access to create a compact, rugged solution for automation floors, transportation hubs, and outdoor facilities. With integrated redundancy, robust management, and the embedded IXM deployment feature, you gain reliable connectivity, simplified provisioning, and reduced engineering time across multiple sites. Whether you are powering security cameras, factory sensors, wireless access points, or control panels, this industrial switch is engineered to keep devices powered, connected, and secure in demanding conditions.

  • High-density PoE ports for flexible device deployment: The switch options support 8 or 4 Gigabit PoE ports, enabling you to power a wide range of PoE-enabled devices directly from the unit. This reduces wiring complexity, eliminates separate power supplies for each endpoint, and simplifies cabinet layouts in space-constrained industrial installations.
  • Flexible uplinks with 2 Gigabit SFP ports: Two Gigabit SFP ports provide versatile uplink configurations, allowing fiber or copper connections to the core network. This enables longer-distance links between sites, ring topologies for redundancy, and high-bandwidth paths that preserve performance for critical applications like real-time monitoring and control systems.
  • Integrated 2 VDSL2 ports for last-mile access: The inclusion of VDSL2 ports expands deployment options by enabling efficient, cost-effective access to remote devices and field equipment without requiring dedicated fiber to every location. This feature supports diverse network topologies and facilitates quick expansion where cabling is challenging.
  • Redundant, industrial-grade construction for uptime: Built to endure demanding industrial settings, the switch features rugged hardware and design attributes aimed at reliability. Redundant power options help maintain operation during power interruptions, while rugged enclosures and engineered thermal management support stable performance in challenging environments.
  • Advanced deployment with IXM for rapid provisioning: The embedded IXM function accelerates deployment workflows, enabling faster configuration, simplified mass provisioning, and centralized management. This translates to reduced engineering time, quicker site rollouts, and consistent policy enforcement across multiple devices and locations.

How to install Advantech 4GE PoE + 2G SFP + 2 VDSL2 Port Managed Redundant Industrial Switch

  • Prepare the installation site: Choose a clean, ventilated enclosure or cabinet with adequate space for airflow. Verify that ambient temperatures meet the device’s industrial operating range and ensure there is access to power and network cabling.
  • Mount and secure the switch: Attach the unit to a standard DIN rail or compatible mounting surface as provided by the model’s installation guidelines. Secure fasteners and verify stability to withstand vibrations common in industrial environments.
  • Connect power and configure redundancy: Connect the primary power source and, if available, the redundant power input. After power on, verify status indicators and enter the management interface to enable redundancy features, if required by your network design.
  • Wiring PoE endpoints: Plug PoE-enabled devices (cameras, access points, sensors) into the 8/4 Gigabit PoE ports. Ensure that devices negotiate properly and monitor PoE power usage to prevent overloading the switch or circuit.
  • Set up uplinks and network policies: Connect the 2 Gigabit SFP ports to the core network or distribution ring. Use the IXM-enabled management interface to apply consistent VLANs, QoS policies, security settings, and device profiles across the deployment for uniform performance and protection.
  • Deploy monitoring and maintenance routines: Configure environmental and performance alarms, enable remote management access, and set up scheduled backups of switch configurations. Validate network paths and run end-to-end tests with critical devices to confirm reliability before full-scale deployment.

Frequently asked questions

  • What is IXM and how does it help deployment? IXM is an embedded management and provisioning capability that speeds up deployment, simplifies device provisioning, and enables centralized management across multiple units and sites, reducing engineering time and ensuring consistent configurations.
  • Can this switch power PoE devices and still maintain performance? Yes. The switch provides high-density PoE ports designed to power PoE-enabled devices while maintaining robust switching performance for data traffic and control signals, helping to consolidate networking and power delivery in a single, space-efficient unit.
  • What uplink options are available? The device includes two Gigabit SFP ports to support fiber or copper uplinks, offering flexible topology choices such as point-to-point, ring, or star configurations with reliable, low-latency connections.
  • Why would I use the VDSL2 ports? The VDSL2 ports provide a practical last-mile option for extending network reach to remote devices or sites where fiber is not feasible, enabling cost-effective connectivity without requiring extensive cabling.
  • Where can I find full specifications and compatibility details? Detailed specifications can be found on the supplier’s product page, using the UPC or SKU as the reference to locate the exact model and firmware options.

Amazing quality and value
Size: 2.1 Ounce (Pack of 1)
This matcha is a great value. I find others in large packaging do not have the best taste, but smaller ones are often so expensive. This one tastes amazing and it's not going to break the bank, especially if you can get it on sale. It blends nicely when using a matcha whisk, and I love making iced protein matcha lattes with it!

Best budget friendly matcha
Size: 2.1 Ounce (Pack of 1), Size: 2.1 Ounce (Pack of 1)
I was skeptical, but it turned out to be very good for a budget friendly matcha. It was very smooth and wasnt gritty. Had a slight bitterness but not in an unbearable way. And did not have that strong grassy taste that alot of cheaper matchas have. I will definitely be repurchasing

would buy again, ifff i’m on a budget
Size: 2.1 Ounce (Pack of 1), Size: 2.1 Ounce (Pack of 1)
this matcha is okay which is expected for its price. it’s not the usual authentic japanese matcha. it’s made in china. it is a bit better than i expected! other matcha powders are pretty expensive and it shows in the taste. this matcha did surprisingly have a nice green color. it was darker than i expected and didn’t have a yellow hue which i don’t like. it seems fresh. i don’t know if it gave me energy. i am currently drinking some in the evening and i don’t feel much of a difference as i type this. i used about two heaping spoonfuls and a half (not really a spoonful. yk that little wooden scoop.. it’s called a chashaku) and the taste wasn’t that strong but maybe i used too much water when i mixed it. if the taste were stronger i would give this 4 or 5 stars. i like a noticeable matcha taste. i would say it’s not very strong at all but i’ll take it for this price if i’m on a budget. i paired it with torani almond syrup and i feel like i can taste the syrup more and i didn’t even add that much. like i said, i’ll take it for this price or cheaper but i wouldn’t pay more than $15 for it. i would buy again if i’m looking for something less expensive. but if not, i’d say it’s better to splurge a bit if you’re picky about the taste strength !

Great Quality
Flavor Name: Ceremonial Barista, Size: 1.06 oz
I’ve tried a few matcha brands and this one really stood out. The color is a beautiful, vibrant green, which already says a lot about the quality. The taste is smooth and fresh, not bitter, and it blends really well whether I’m making drinks hot or iced. You can tell it’s a high-quality, ceremonial grade matcha. I also really love that it’s from a small business, it makes the whole experience feel more intentional and special. Definitely something I’ll keep repurchasing! 🍵✨
