This beautiful and bountiful necklace features a genuine black shungite drop bead surrounded by unakite, poppy jasper barrels, green jade, fossilized coral, smokey quartz, and Red Creek jasper beads.

The shungite pendants are hand worked at the Russian factory, as opposed to mass produced, so they have many irregularities in terms of texture and shape. Shungite also contains dozens of different minerals and elements, so veins, specks, and interesting patterns are the norm, completely typical of authentic shungite.

Each shungite drop bead is slightly different - some more oval and others more triangular. The size of the shungite beads varies, but they average about 1.2 by 0.75 inches.

More About the Clasp

The necklace comes with a sturdy, self-aligning Mag-Lok clasp, which is an extremely strong rare earth magnet. To open the clasp, SLIDE the two halves apart - DO NOT PULL (a thumbnail is handy to get it started).

Those with pacemakers should NOT use these magnets. If you need a different clasp, please include a message in the "Note" section during checkout, and I will happily swap it out for a lobster clasp.

How to Measure Desired Cording Length

The measurement I need is the full circle - starting at the clasp, going ALL the way around the neck & back to the clasp again. You may use a string, measuring tape, or even dental floss will work!

What do the other beads do?
