The Middle Atlantic UQFP Series Intake Only Fan Panel (model UQFP-4RA-INT) is engineered for professional rack environments where reliable cooling, low noise, and a sleek, durable finish are essential. This intake-only panel is designed to pull cool air into the rack, helping to prevent hotspots and extend the life of sensitive equipment. With a focused 100 CFM airflow and a thoughtful thermostatic control system, the UQFP-4RA-INT balances aggressive cooling performance with a remarkably quiet operation, making it an ideal choice for audio/video studios, data centers, network closets, and broadcast suites where both power and silence matter. The panel’s black brushed and anodized finish delivers a premium, sturdy look that fits seamlessly into high-end racks while withstanding the rigors of daily use.

  • High-performance, low-noise cooling — The UQFP-4RA-INT delivers up to 100 CFM of airflow to rapidly move warm rack air away from critical equipment, helping to maintain stable operating temperatures across dense equipment deployments. Despite the strong airflow, the unit operates at a remarkably quiet 27 dB, making it suitable for environments where acoustics are important, such as recording studios, control rooms, and broadcast facilities. This combination of robust cooling and quiet operation ensures sensitive equipment stays within manufacturer-recommended temperatures without adding disruptive noise to the workspace. The thermostatic control system automatically modulates fan speed in response to rack temperature, providing efficient cooling when loads spike while reducing energy use during lighter operations.
  • Intake-only design for targeted cooling — This panel is engineered as an intake-only solution, pulling cool ambient air from the front of the rack to direct it across hot components and toward exhaust paths. By focusing airflow where heat builds up most, the UQFP-4RA-INT helps prevent hotspots that can degrade performance or shorten component life. The intake-only approach also simplifies airflow planning in dense rack environments and minimizes unnecessary recirculation, allowing your equipment to operate cooler with less effort from the cooling system as a whole. The robust construction and precise engineering of the panel ensure consistent performance across a wide range of rack temperatures.
  • Sleek finish and rugged build — Finished in black brushed and anodized metal, the UQFP-4RA-INT not only delivers dependable cooling but also a professional aesthetic that complements premium rack systems. The durable finish resists wear from frequent front-panel access, cable movement, and vibration, maintaining its appearance while standing up to long-term use in demanding facilities. The panel is designed to integrate cleanly with standard 19-inch racks and Middle Atlantic’s own mounting configurations, offering both form and function in a compact, front-facing cooling solution that doesn’t compromise rack space or accessibility.
  • Easy integration for professional environments — Built to fit standard rack ecosystems, the UQFP-4RA-INT integrates smoothly with compatible Middle Atlantic products and other 19-inch rack components. The module is designed to work with existing power and temperature monitoring schemes, allowing technicians to coordinate cooling with overall IT or audio/video infrastructure. Its intake orientation, combined with thermostatic control, supports consistent performance in real-world deployments where equipment density and heat loads can vary significantly. This makes it an attractive choice for installers seeking a balance of performance, reliability, and aesthetic cohesion in modern racks.
  • Reliable operation with minimal maintenance — The thermostatic control system ensures the fan speed adjusts automatically to maintain target rack temperatures, reducing unnecessary wear on the fan motor and lowering energy consumption during cooler periods. This intelligent control translates into longer service life, reduced maintenance intervals, and predictable cooling performance. The panel’s solid construction, corrosion-resistant finish, and straightforward mounting contribute to a maintenance-friendly solution that rack technicians can rely on for years of dependable operation in busy data, AV, or communications environments.

how to install Middle Atlantic UQFP Series Intake Only Fan Panel

Install this intake panel in a standard 19-inch rack to achieve optimal cooling for dense equipment configurations. Before you begin, ensure power is disconnected and all hazards are mitigated. The following steps outline a general installation approach suitable for most compatible rack systems. Always refer to the official installation manual for model-specific instructions and safety guidelines.

1) Prepare the rack space: Remove any blanking panels or obstructions from the front of the rack slot where the panel will be mounted. Confirm there is clear access to front-panel mounting holes and that power availability aligns with your facility’s electrical standards. 2) Align the panel: Slide the UQFP-4RA-INT into the chosen front rack position and align the mounting holes with the rack’s rails. Ensure the panel is level and that there is adequate clearance for front air intake and any nearby cables. 3) Secure the panel: Use the appropriate screws or mounting hardware to fasten the panel securely to the rack rails. Do not overtighten, as that can damage the chassis or affect the seal around the panel edge. 4) Connect power and controls: Attach the panel’s power connector to the rack’s power distribution system or to an appropriate power source per the product’s wiring diagram. If applicable, connect temperature sensors or monitoring interfaces in accordance with the installation manual. 5) Verify operation: Reconnect power, power on the rack, and verify that the intake fan engages and reaches normal operating speed. Check that thermostatic control is functioning by simulating a higher rack temperature and observing the fan response. Confirm there are no obstructions to the intake and that airflow is visible through the front vent. 6) Final checks: Ensure cables are neatly organized to avoid blocking the intake, reapply any blanking panels if needed for airflow balance, and document the installation for future maintenance or compliance requirements.

Beta, Alpha, Omega oh my!
Format: Kindle
Omegas are precious and given to Alphas & their packs... but the Betas want in too. To this end, the Beta government is rolling out its trial of assigning a Beta to each Alpha-Omega pack. But forcing a Beta into a pack where they are not wanted will not end well... Of course, no one expected the Omega to fall for the assigned Beta. Great read and cliffhanger

A familiar story, just with…..less.
Format: Kindle
So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.

Baby bumps and bodyguards
Format: Kindle
Dark, emotional, and unexpectedly tender, Not Ready is an omegaverse romance that delivers found family feels, fierce protectiveness, and a very pregnant heroine who refuses to break. Vale’s on the run from a stalker, but lands in the arms of three private security alphas, cue the swoony tension, fake marriage twist, and slow-burn heat. It’s a little gritty, a little soft, and a whole lot addictive. If you love protective alphas, high stakes, and heroines with quiet strength, this one’s a must-read.

Strong Omegaverse Comfort and a Attention Grabbing Plot
Format: Kindle
Jillian West never misses when it comes to Omegaverse, and Not Ready is no exception. This story was the perfect blend of cozy comfort and emotional depth while still delivering a strong plot. Vale is such a powerful heroine, she is strong, capable, and determined but I love that she still allows her pack to love and take care of her. It’s that balance of independence and vulnerability that makes her so relatable. The relationship dynamics were amazing: Bishop is steadfast and completely head over heels, Mercy is skeptical but protective in his own way, and Holt is the hesitant one whose slow fall is so satisfying to watch unfold. The romance hits that sweet spot between insta-love and cautious build, keeping me hooked the entire way through. And that ending. Oh my god, the cliffhanger! I need the next book in this duet immediately.
