HOW IT WORKS

The delicate eye area is often one of the first places to show age and needs extra protection against external aggressors. With sun protection, Advanced Day Eye Protect shields the delicate skin from harmful UV rays to limit the visible signs of premature ageing. 

Moringa extract is a breathable film former that sits on the skin surface around the eyes to provide exceptional anti-pollution defence, helping to quench free radicals before they can damage the skin.

Carnosine is a multi-tasking dipeptide which protects from both glycation and infrared light. Glycation is a natural ageing process in which dietary sugars react with proteins such as collagen, transforming them into advanced glycation end-products (A.G.E.s) that cannot be renewed, which leads to fine lines and wrinkles around the eye area. Advanced Day Eye Protect uses carnosine to help inhibit the glycation reaction and keep the skin around the eyes protected from glycation-derived skin ageing. Carnosine can also protect the skin from infrared rays, which make up around half of the sun’s rays and could play a part in the breakdown of collagen.

Advanced Day Eye Protect features antioxidant theobroma cacao seed extract to mitigate the negative effects of the environment on skin.

A combination of caffeine and hesperidin helps to diminish the signs of dark circles to leave eyes protected, bright and refreshed.

Glycation is the process by which sugars in your body react with proteins, such as collagen, to form advanced glycation end products or A.G.E.s for short. The A.G.E.s can form crosslinks between collagen strands, which makes the collagen stiff and inflexible. The end result of this is less supple, older looking skin, and often the formation of fine lines and wrinkles. HOW TO USE

After cleansing in the morning, apply a liberal amount of Advanced Day Eye Protect around the eye area, avoiding eyelids.
