The Stellar Orion is inspired by an iconic Italian design object from the 1950s that revolutionized the traditional chandelier approach. Where classic chandeliers seek to diffuse a single light through crystals or lampshades, this original design embraces raw multiplication: as many metal arms as visible bulbs, without diffuser or concealment. The result is a stellar luminous sculpture where each bulb becomes an individual lighting point, and the whole forms a domestic constellation. The black electrical cables that run through the arms are also visible — a radical aesthetic choice that transforms technical functionality into a graphic element. Which size to choose for your space?

The 18-bulb (69 × 51 cm) is the versatile format: it is suitable for a standard residential living room, a 6-8 person dining room, a large office or a master bedroom (15-25 m²). The 30-bulb (88 × 72 cm) is designed for large spaces: large living room, hotel lobby, restaurant, reception hall (25-50 m²). Which E14 LED bulb should I choose?
Opt for E14 LEDs in warm white (2700-3000 Kelvin), with an intensity of 200-300 lumens per bulb, in a candle shape or transparent Edison tube. Since there are many visible bulbs, their aesthetics are as important as their function. Classic candle LED: preserves the traditional spirit of the chandelier. How to maintain a 50-bulb chandelier?
Maintaining a large chandelier requires regularity but remains accessible. Regular dusting: use a telescopic duster or a soft, dry microfiber cloth to reach all arms and bulbs without disassembling. Occasional deep cleaning: remove bulbs one by one (after turning off and cooling), clean each socket with a dry cloth, dust the metal arms. A Fun Historical Mystery!

In 1932, the famous movie star Lulu Wong was murdered. However, the police arrested an innocent man for the crime. The Chow sisters—May, Gemma, and Peony— believe that because Lulu Wong was Asian, her case was not handled fairly. They decide to investigate the case to find the real killer. As they investigate, the sisters realize that they are in great danger because the killer knows that they are investigating him and he wants to stop them. Even though the synopsis named three main characters, there are only two narrators—May and Gemma. Peony is rarely mentioned and does very little investigating in this book. Peony mostly likes playing basketball and reading. She spends most of the time taking care of her pregnant mother. May and Gemma are the ones that do the real investigating. Gemma is very reckless and impulsive, but May is hesitant and reluctant. May thinks more about her family’s reputation and her responsibilities for her family. Therefore, Gemma has more freedom and independence. I found both Gemma and May to be very smart. I also like how they teamed up to solve the mystery. Therefore, they make a very fun team. Overall, this book is about family, racism, and dreams. The main message of this book is to follow your heart. I liked all the characters. I found them to be very complex and realistic. I did find the book to move at an incredibly slow pace. I also thought that the mystery was drawn out. Nevertheless, I like the setting of 1930s Chinatown. Kill Her Twice was an entertaining cozy historical mystery that is perfect for a lazy afternoon! I recommend this book for fans of June Hur, Joan He, and Sherry Thomas! Awesome Book!
This book was fantastic! I was watching NY1 one morning and some students were sharing the books they were reading this summer. One little girl shared this book and said it was the best book she'd ever read! So I bought it and noticed it had earned a Corretta Scott King Award, as well. Although it only mildly touched on the horrible institution abd acts of slavery, it was written in a way that a young reader could understand without it being extremely graphic. I am a kindergarten teacher in an African American community and while I cannot use it as a Read Aloud for my students, I will absolutely ask my principal if she can purchase a copy for each upper grade teacher to be used for our daily, morning, read aloud. Our children must learn about their history because in may ways it will give them strength, perseverance and will also assist in shaping their future. Sharon Draper did an amazing job!

Factual young adult read!

The book was as wonderful as could be expected considering the subject matter. The author clearly did her research. That was made apparent early own when she depicted African storytelling. It was fast pace and the writing style was simplistic. I later discovered this is consider a young adult read so that’s why the simplistic writing style and the lack of profanity. Yes, there were racial slurs and derogatory remarks, but nowhere near as heavy and hard hitting as other books I’ve read. I would consider it “clean” and the rape scenes were brief and not detailed. I will say I initially struggled with Polly’s introduction into the story. My mind immediately went to white savior and I was put off. Even after I realized that wasn’t the narrative the author was going for I still struggled to like her detailed presence and felt like the story should have been solely focused on Amari. However after I got about half way through the book the author skillfully made me forget all about that dislike with a surprising plot twist. From then on I had to read with my hand covering the adjacent page because my eyes would try to skip over and read what’s next. The end of their journey had started to feel a bit fairytalish but the author subtly rectified that with numerous clear facts. So that was appreciated. I feel like some authors try to say “well yeah they went through all these horrible things but they finally were free and lived happily ever after”… like no, not quite. In the afterword, Draper does separate fact from fiction and encourages the reader to do some deeper research of their own. She list numerous informative sites as well as books. I do feel like the simplistic writing style and the fast pace story took away from the emotional depth of the characters. Just to clarify, this is a work of fiction but the facts of the story are true.
